About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

Knolllwood Golf Course New
Because of Covid we didn’t get a chance to use the amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. The tee boxes at the new course have always been rough. Thought the greens were smooth but a little slow and the fairways firm with some big bounces. Overall I felt the course was in better shape than the last time I played which was about 4 years ago.
Slow round, decent course
Over 5 hours, great food, not overly great service. Nice greens, saw the beer cart twice
Good course, great shape
An average length course, but a lot of hills and dog legs. Keeps you on your toes and challenges your decision making. A very fun course.
Knollwood New Course
Challenging course layout, especially from the tips. Undulating greens structures that test your green reading skills.
Once around will leave you with unfinished business, you will want to go again to get revenge and pick up those shots you know you left out there!
Disappointed.
Tee off areas are poorly marked. Cost for this sub standard track is in reasonable. Clearly greed based on the high demand. Will not golf here again and will inform my club of my experience.
I Enjoyed the Round
Booked via GolfNow. Got a good hot deal. The staff at the course was very nice. Enjoyed playing with other partners. The is not easy to play and required focused game play.
Decent day out
Nice course, greens are very slow and some cut grass was left In the rough which sometimes made it difficult if you were as wayward as me. Overall a nice course , a lot of fun to play even if you don't know where to aim most of the time off the tee. Starters were really great guys and I would return to play again .
smooth greens
Course was in good shape.. Greens were smooth however were very slow similar to resort style speed about 9 on the speed dial .
No bunkers to speak off helps speed up play .As long as the course continues to take single golfers in there tee times I ll return .Not unlike most of the courses are wanting two golfers to register.
Could be better
Golf course is ok but many improvements are needed. No garbage cans available on the first several holes. Tee boxes need some maintenance. The course should offer senior discounts. Also they may want to reduce their price for what is offered.
