Knollwood Golf Club - Old
About
Knollwood Golf Club is home to two 18-hole courses, the Old and the New. The golf courses were built nearly 20 years apart. Opened in 1970, the Old Course is spread across beautiful parkland that is covered in trees. The layout is more traditional and less challenging than the other course at Knollwood Golf Club, but it is still an entertaining round. The main priority in creating the golf course was to not only maintain the natural features of the terrain, but also enhance it. Thousands of trees were planted in addition to those already present throughout the golf course. The result is a unique course that players of all skill levels will enjoy.

Well maintained
The course was in fairly good condition. We were very surprised that the tee box markers were not there. Apparently they were removed in July. Not sure of the reason for that. Had to guess where to tee off from
Greedy course!
$73 for 18 with a cart is absolutely ridiculous. Knollwood has always been greedy with their rates. For a short track that’s always in subpar condition, they live up to the review.
Fall rates at Glen Abbey are $63 plus tax. Are either of the knollwood courses even remotely close to being in the same category as Glen Abbey... Not even close.
Either way, options were limited and the greedy owners of this course know it. Other than the green fees, it was a decent round
It's fine.
Course was...fine.
Very short, most of the par 4s are around 250 yards.
Course layout is weird, driving from hole to tee is odd sometimes.
Greens were in good condition.
Cart paths were really terrible in some spots.
Amazing course
I live in Toronto and travel once a week to play this course and sister course (new)
Considering the lateness of the season the course was in amazing condition. The greens were a little rough but considering they were top seeded for the winter it is totally understandable.
As usual the service and staff are above and beyond.
Proud to call this my favourite course.
Thank you for your covid precautions.
Cold and wet
The course was very muddy and wet due to rain the day before. Greens were very slow.
