About
Located on the outskirts of the southwestern city of Guelph, Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of scenic golf that sprawl across a rolling landscape of trees and ponds. The Willows golf course is one of the three nine-hole courses at the club. The Willows features an abundance of trees that demand accuracy and keen course management. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers throughout the course. Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club's Willow course offers a fair challenge, but it is also approachable for beginning and intermediate players. The other two golf courses provide plenty of other golfing options as well.

Surprising Good
I heard some bad reviews about this course. They were wrong. The course is in great shape. The greens were weren’t as fast as I like it, but smooth and lush.
The only negative are the bunkers. Like many courses, that’s seems to be an issue. Just don’t hit your ball in them and you’ll be fine 🤣

A frustrating round
We were situated between multiple foursomes for the course's mens night. There were two other Nines we could have been placed on, which would not have been as slow. So the course around us was fairly open, while the nine we were playing was slow. Once we moved to the back nine and the men's night was over, pace of play was FAR better. Greens were in bad shape, and the rough was unplayable.

Northern Dunes
Very few tee boxes with grass on them. Some holes with interesting and challenging layout and designs. Few greens were heavily damaged with large dead spots. Surrounding cottage courses are in better shape at similar pricing.
Golf Now Needs a Phone Number
I had to work unexpectedly and called the course to cancel. They were very accommodating even though I was less than 24hrs from the Tee Time.
The course had no issue with a refund but I was unable to contact Golf now for a refund. I will never use the app again and will not recommend anyone use it. It is unacceptable that there is no way to actually talk to anyone.
I might find A Tee Time with the app but I will never book it through the app again.
