About
Located on the outskirts of the southwestern city of Guelph, Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of scenic golf that sprawl across a rolling landscape of trees and ponds. The Willows golf course is one of the three nine-hole courses at the club. The Willows features an abundance of trees that demand accuracy and keen course management. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers throughout the course. Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club's Willow course offers a fair challenge, but it is also approachable for beginning and intermediate players. The other two golf courses provide plenty of other golfing options as well.

A frustrating round
We were situated between multiple foursomes for the course's mens night. There were two other Nines we could have been placed on, which would not have been as slow. So the course around us was fairly open, while the nine we were playing was slow. Once we moved to the back nine and the men's night was over, pace of play was FAR better. Greens were in bad shape, and the rough was unplayable.

Northern Dunes
Very few tee boxes with grass on them. Some holes with interesting and challenging layout and designs. Few greens were heavily damaged with large dead spots. Surrounding cottage courses are in better shape at similar pricing.
Golf Now Needs a Phone Number
I had to work unexpectedly and called the course to cancel. They were very accommodating even though I was less than 24hrs from the Tee Time.
The course had no issue with a refund but I was unable to contact Golf now for a refund. I will never use the app again and will not recommend anyone use it. It is unacceptable that there is no way to actually talk to anyone.
I might find A Tee Time with the app but I will never book it through the app again.
Lots Of Water
due to recent rains there was laying water all over the course, ( Cart Path Only) Everything was saturated, but it was still great to be golfing. Pace was awesome we were done 18 in 3.5 hours. Want to get back soon on a dry day, we always enjoy playing here.
Cart Path ONLY
Enjoyable round at this course, played Pines/Willows. Due to a lot of water on the course from recent heavy rains, it was cart path only, which slowed down the round a fair bit and greens were pretty slow too. However, I will be back, good value for the money. Many tee boxes were not the greatest but far better than other very negative comments I have seen in here. Will definitely play here again!
