About
The Pines is one of three nine-hole courses at Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club, which is located on the outskirts of Guelph. The Pines golf course shares a heavily forested landscape that is dotted with large ponds with the other two courses, the Willows and the Lakes. There is also a creek that winds through several holes. In addition to the water hazards coming into play, the Pines course also features several strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers. Each golf course at Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club is uniquely designed to offer a great variety of interesting par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s. The golf courses offer something for players of every skill level

Fun course
Enjoy playing this course , lots of interesting holes, greens are in amazing shape, tee boxes could use a little work, but all in all a fun place yo play.
IMPRESSED
Impressed with how nice the greens are on this course! Friendly staff super cheap when yiu book with GolfNow app. 42$ for 18holes ill take anyday
Twice as nice
2nd time on this course. Scored more then last round, my fault not the courses
. Son went lower 85. Yet to play Lakes here but will likely return before the end of golf season. Greens where rolling nicely.
Great greens bad tee blocks
Great course has some real challenging from the blue but a good test to your game. Everything was great except for the tee blocks they were disappointing
Hidden Gem
Fantastic views off the tees, very well kept throughout the entire course! Tee to green was in fantastic shape! Challenging for the yardage, but fair enough to enjoy! Will definitely play again!
Arris’s Valley
A lot of blind tee shots and approach shots into very oversized greens that have a lot of undulating features.
This course appears to have been built as a members course and it requires a lot of local knowledge in order to play it well. You will lose alot of balls because you are hitting off a tee not knowing what hazards or bunkers are just off the fairway. You need to keep the tee shot in the fairway and understand where to put your ball on the green. They could save a lot of money in maintenance if they reduced a lot of the greens by 60%. Public players want courses that are fun to play and have no hidden tricks or slopes. As far as the current course conditions you can tell that they are struggling to make ends meet.
Make the course more fun to play and more golfers will pay green fees, buy food and drinks. More information needs to be posted on the tee about how the hole is to be played successfully.

Greens need some work but lots of maintenance
Staff working on the course. Played the lakes nine for the back nine which was very nice
Worth the money
Thoroughly enjoyable. Course and greens in great condition. Friendly helpful staff. Well worth the money.
