About
Gleneagle Golf Course in Arlington is just an hour north of Seattle. The 5,949-yard, par-70 layout may seem relatively short, but it's a course that will test your shot making skills and accuracy with strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The layout makes up for any lack of length in many other ways, including the treacherous rough that lines the rolling fairways. Water hazards come into play as well, but there are more on the front nine than the back. There are some challenging holes but overall, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf course, especially with its backdrop of cedar and fir trees spread across rolling hills. With a driving range also available, Gleneagle offers one of the area's best values for the money.

Pick up the pace
5-1/2 hour round was excruciatingly slow. When we arrived on the 10th tee, a twosome was told to start there by the pro shop staff. That should NEVER happen!

March madness
Doesn't get better than a round of golf in March. Paul was excellent at the desk. Friendly, professional. It was a great time!
Bunkers?
So sad seeing the lack of any type of maintenance on any bunker, not sure why they even have rakes with the grass growing in them or little ponds. Sad would not take much to care.

Fun course to play.
Have been taking my grandkids for the last couple of years. The pace always allows us to play and teach the kids. I like that it narrows and tell the kids this will help them in the long run. Great staff from the kitchen to the pro shop. There new carts are great!!

Excellent greens! Great value!
Unbelievable greens condition, especially considering the middle of a cold wet winter. Always a challenge. It's not long, but it's not easy either! Good value too!

Great course, especially for the price
Loved the course. Played here many times in the past 6-7 years. Since the new management, the course has vastly improved! Bunkers need a lot of work, but the pro shop almost always lets you know ahead of time, which I believe is awesome. Again, great course especially for the price. Will be coming back often, as I always do!

Come with your A-game
-Tee boxes were level for the most part
-Cart paths were a bit bumpy=go slow
-Fairways were lush & green w/ some standing H2O
-Greens slow but mostly true
-Sand traps need LOTS of work!

Great Greens
The Greens are always in great shape. Like carpet.
not happy
1) had to pay a deposit for the reservation 2) I was charged more than fees quoted when I made online reservation, in fact was charged more than my playing partner. 3) they charged about $2.25 for using my credit card to pay greens fees. 4) I had to leave my driver's license to rent a cart. 5) the tee boxes are pretty rough.
