Gleneagle Golf Course

About
Gleneagle Golf Course in Arlington is just an hour north of Seattle. The 5,949-yard, par-70 layout may seem relatively short, but it's a course that will test your shot making skills and accuracy with strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The layout makes up for any lack of length in many other ways, including the treacherous rough that lines the rolling fairways. Water hazards come into play as well, but there are more on the front nine than the back. There are some challenging holes but overall, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf course, especially with its backdrop of cedar and fir trees spread across rolling hills. With a driving range also available, Gleneagle offers one of the area's best values for the money.

Course well kept
Good well kept course in July. Sand boxes may need a little better keeping but everything else was good.
A little bit pricey for location.
Nice course worth playing
Short course, but plenty of challenges. Lots of fairways sloped left to right which is difficult for a fader of the ball. Lots of hazards not seen if new to course. Greens run true but slower than most other courses. Worth playing if in the area.
Great course, new carts
Just a fun course to play. There could be a little better signage when crossing roads. But nice new carts and awesome greens.
Too slow pace
I booked for 18 and only played 9 because I was waiting 10min per tee…understand everyone has the right to play but someone should make sure the pace is accordingly. Was going for a 6 hr round and was not going to spend that much time. There should be someone making sure the pace is good.
The policy of leaving an ID to rent a golf cart needs to stop

It’s got some water
Many ponds and streams that need to be avoided and a little on the narrow side with big trees edging the fairways except where houses encroach. Not long but lots of terrain changes and slopes, it is challenging. New carts are nice.

great coourse
It was the first time to play golf for me in Seattle area. This course is licated in the clean and beatiful local residence. I was lost to find out #5 as some of the holes are not set side by side. You have to be careful not to lost to find out #5 and #9. Anyway it is a great course though.

Fun in the sun
Beautiful fairways, greens, and views. Nice get away from the city. I met a great ball striker name Matt. He was a pleasure to play round with. It was more wet than a couple of weeks ago. Lots of lift, clean, and set for a fluffy lie. Bring some extra balls if you can not hit the fairways consistently. The brand new golf carts are amazing. Great value for your money.

Hello, We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Gleneagle Golf Course.
Beautiful day
I play GleneEagle 2-3 times per year.. I live in Redmond so I can only get out a few times per year. I enjoyed the course and the upper 70s degrees day. I noticed they replaced all the golf carts with brand new carts. Nice to drive around in a new vehicle. The course forces you to aim small to avoid trouble on some of the narrow fairways. The greens are in great condition my putts were dropping in better than normal. There are many types of lies depending where the ball lands. You have to adjust to many up hill and down hill lies. Most of the fairways were dry. There was very little trouble with wetness. It is worth the drive out to Arlington. Have fun!
3.5 hour round
Started on #10 as a single and finished in an hour and a half. My back nine took well over two hours as I did run into a threesome that was struggling along and had no idea what ready golf was or how to allow a single to pass through.
There were noticeable tire tracks throughout the course from what looked like heavy equipment that was operating during wet conditions. Some, if not all the sand traps resembled OB hazards vs an actual sand trap. Either way, fun times on a cool local track.
Needs serious attention
This course has been neglected and could be great again if they'd just clean it up. The course has experienced a great deal of rain this spring so the mushy and mud areas are excusable but could be addressed with an aggressive topdressing program. The bunkers have grass growing within an haven't been raked for quite some time, obviously. Stairs and other manmade parts are in total disrepair. They really need to fine tune the details to regain this gem of a course! The greens are excellent though, quick and true rolling healthy surfaces! Kudos for this only shiny star here currently.

Hi! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Gleneagle Golf Course!
Good Course
I do not understand why Gleneagle is not busier. It is a par 70 with a lot of character. Lot of elevation changes. Lot of wide fairways which is why I only give it a moderate rating. Par three's are challenging. Some good risk/reward holes. Winds through a residential neighborhood which can be intimidating to some, but the houses are not really in your face, except on one par five where the fairway is tight.
The price to play 18 is hard to beat. I like to walk it, but you can get greens fees and a cart for a good price.
Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Gleneagle Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon.
