Greens were sanded and played terribly
After the round I went into the clubhouse to share my concerns over the sand on the green, they sluffed me off. I play between 60 and 70 rounds a year. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I won't be playing there again, and I most certainly won't recommend it to anyone.
Great, very tight course
Course was in great shape. No shredded tee blocks, all fairways were green and healthy. A few holes were forced lay ups (150 yd tee shot required) which annoys me and sight lines were tough, even with GPS (swingU). Very tight off the tees, bit very true golf course tee to green.
Starters (Donna and Steve) were very friendly and helped me get out in the best shape for the day. I played by myself on a cart and starter bumped ahead of a group on the second 9 to speed up play. 4-somes let me through once on each 9, also, which was also nice. Played the first 9 in less than 60 minutes!
Great course, would definitely come back!
Westview Middle/Lakeland
First time playing this course in over 30 years. Wonderful to see this course again. Trees have grown in making fairways tight, and doglegs and some approaches challenging. True to memory, the course always seems to play uphill, so it is a full walk.
Course was in wonderful condition...pricepoint was fine with COVID pricing...pace of play was a little slow due to trees making balls tough to find quickly.
Staff was very friendly, and the burgers on the patio were just as memorable as they were 30+ years ago.
Nice course value for money
