Westview Golf Club - Homestead/Lakeland

Given the current circumstances I can give the benefit of the doubt to the crew about the course conditions tee to green but there were places of severe dips on the fairways. The greens were too slow for my liking and took me almost the whole round to get used to the greens. With a little more attention to the overall condition this could be a real hidden gem though

Course was in terrible condition. Grass was basically dead the entire fairway of each hole. Nice greens. Round took over 5 hours was very slow.

Course was dry out, burnt fairways and rock hard.

Went with a buddy and it a challenging course but had a great time. I liked how they give you the option on Course want to play on that back 9.

Fairways are uneven making for lots of tough lies if you can find the narrow fairways but the Greens are some of the best ones I’ve played this year.

I have been playing here for about 10 years now, fairly consistently. 8 times a year or so.

Highly recommend buying the 10 pack (includes cars) - roughly $67 a round no matter the time of day / day of week - cart and taxes incl. (changes each year, but been that for a while. You can use the 10 pack on your friends/guests, so go out with friends twice and there you go - already paid for itself.

Quality of the cart paths and facilities has steadily dropped in last 10 years, but the course (especially the greens) always remains in great shape. Fairways a bit bumpy, but grass kept well maintained. Good scenery, particularly Lakeland / Middle.

You can't beat the deal with the 10 pack and quality course in the GTA in my opinion. I love the length of the course. Long par 4's - lots of other public courses, par 4's are 330 yards, turns the entire game into safe iron shots or a drive and a shortish ship. Enjoy being able to take out a 7 or 8 iron on an approach consistently for par 4's - challenging that way and tight fairways.

Best value for the money (with the 10 pack) and I enjoy this course the most in the area in terms of public courses. Like it more than Pheasant Run etc. that are also in the area, granted Pheasant Run has nicer facilities.

Great course to play if you like being surrounded by mature forests. Greens were in excellent shape but the fairways and paths need attention.

Excellent challenge from the whites or the blues. Some of the more challenging holes in the GTA.

Not sure how its being done, but these greens are once again perfect. Dense growth, close cut, fast, smooth & true. Right now, best I've ever played on.

Nice layout with a bit of a challenge, not the easiest to walk for me, lots of uphills. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great round. Definitely a difficult course. Would definitely give it another shot.

Disappointed aT the course, pace and facilities. Not worth the $$ it charges and being a GTA Toronto course. Would not go there again.
