Westview Golf Club - Middle/Homestead

First time at the course, I really like the lay out of the holes.

However, this is near the 'not-so-walkable' end of courses - long and very hilly.

The day that I went, they had put sand on each green which was very frustrating as every shot needed my ball to be wiped. We were not notified of this prior to it occurring.

Played the Lakeview and the Homestead 9 holes. Course conditions ranged from good to average. Some long par 4s and a very challenging par 5. Pace of play was good and was able to complete the round in 4 1/4 hours.

Played with a friend of mine. Though heat warning, wind around the course cooled us down throughout holes. Very friendly patrons.

Had a very pleasant time except bad score caused by me :). Will come again.

Booked a single tee time and the threesome I was suppose to play with happens to show up with 4 players!? Now staff scrambling to get me in a group.

After the round I went into the clubhouse to share my concerns over the sand on the green, they sluffed me off. I play between 60 and 70 rounds a year. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I won't be playing there again, and I most certainly won't recommend it to anyone.
