Heritage Hills Golf Club
About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Good bang for the buck, but slow play.
Marshalls need to make slow groups allow the faster groups play through. Two open holes in front of the group we were following. Waited an annoying 3 or so minutes every hole.
Worth a go!
Interesting course with a variety of holes. Some more challenging. Played 18 holes in 3 1/4 hours can't beat that pace of play
Great pace of play! Hope to see you again this summer.
It's early - only open a couple if weeks...
I have played Heritage Hills a number of times over the last 3 or 4 years. my comments are about an early spring time early golf season round of golf.the greens are already starting to roll very well.the greens are the best feature of the golf course in that they are large and undulating and they role true due to very good care in my opinion.
We're glad you enjoyed your round so early on in the season! We've been working hard to keep the greens in great shape. Hope to see you again this summer!
Excellent course - great layout
This is an excellent course with a very interesting layout of parkland and links holes. Greens are very tough with lots of subtle undulation. Several forced carries make for a challenging round. I played 2 weeks after it opened for the season and a few holes were a bit wet - but this is a definite summer replay.
Great Greens
Great course with the first six hole going through the woods having to keep the driver in play. then you go more into a links style course. The par 5 eight hole is great , be careful not to be to long of the tee, then over a large waste area to a dogleg right up hill.17 is a short par four be careful of the tee and the next shot is all carry to the green over a deep gorge. Great hole!
nice
Has everything u expect in a nice corse. Will definitely play again
Heritage Hills Golf Club
Good day at H.H> Good value at $40 for golf and cart.
Variety of style from parkland/treed to links. Greens can be very challenging with lots of undulations and tricky pin placements
Heritage Hills
Not a bad course, facilitites do not matter much but course could be better tended to. Greens are inconsistant at best.
Tough Greens
Need to place your shot in the right section of the undulating greens to score well
Great value just north of Barrie
My rating is a bit harsh, only because their facilities are lacking. That said, Heritage Hills offers a good round of golf for a good price. The course starts off with 6 holes through forested grounds, then opens up into "links style" holes which cross a deep ravine four times. I played the blue tees, from which the course is just under 6,400 yards. Greens undulate quite a bit. Practice facilities are pretty good, too.
Nice Course
Good layout-greens and tees in good shape-fairways just ok-enjoyed playing here.
great course
fantastic day of golfing as a single. Friendly staff. The course had very few groups playing and I played 18 in 2hrs 22min. Fairways and greens were in great condition. I love the course architecture. I played from the blues and the slope rating is bang on.
Great course!! Going back soon
Huge greens. Lots of variety front nine is well shaded but back nine opens right up to a more links style course. Lots of fun other then slow couple in front of us but still had a great time.
This course needs work
Course needs some work......I got on for 45$ with cart but that's all I would pay for it. Facilities are poor.Clubhouse looks like what you would see in a trailer park....
Good Value
Course conditions have improved over the years. Greens were in good conditions, fairways so-so. Cart paths need improving
appealing look beverage handicapped
The course is very nice, it was a little wet in that the sand traps were lakes and don't need avoiding. The beverage girl never went around even though the staff answered me that she would be.
Overall the course is easy on the eyes and enjoyable. Relax and bring some water.
Another day at Heritage Hills
Just had a great round at Heritage Hills - despite being slowed down by play in front of us (busy day), the course played very well - mix of tighter par 4's on the front 9 with a great wide open links-style back 9 and a few iconic par 3's.
Great course
The course is excellent and well maintained. Rain halted our play and we waited over 1.5 hrs to play and also waited as rain halted the start. Great greens and challenging approach.
Great course for value
No food or beverage cart, would have been nice to know before we tee off.
Booked on GolfNOW-great value
As a once a week player, the course is a great test. The fairways are fairly good to hit off and the greens are moderately fast reasonably true. Most of your clubs will get a chance to be swung. The front nine is a little tight and the back nine is open. While you can walk this course, there several holes on the front nine that require a substantial uphill hike. I am not sure it is worth the regular rate, but it is my favourite golfnow deal.
Sorry to hear the pace of play was a bit slow, we do our best to keep all golfers satisfied and certainly appreciate the feedback.
