Heritage Hills Golf Club
About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Good comination of hole designs
the first 7 holes are tight and tree lined and then the course opens up with the more links style holes and fairly wide open. Some challenging holes going back and forth over ravine. first time playing, it was difficult to know how far off tee to ravine sometimes (a little sign would have been helpful). Condition of course was good and greens were really nice and held shots. Staff was amazing! one group let us through so we were done in under 4 hours. Still a little pricy for Barrie.
Great value
Worth the drive just for the cordiality of the entire staff, tremendous value for your dollar and a very nice track that will challenge any mid-handicapper! The fall colours were just an added bonus!
Very scenic course
Although the course is quite nice the weather conditions
left it waterlogged on some fairways and tee off areas.
So after weekend rain the course was still very wet.
Greens in great shape
Greens were in great shape all day running fast and true even with the rain over the past couple days. Course was in great shape overall, and well maintained
Loved this course.
Great layout and wonderful conditioning. Heritage Hills was a good test of golf. We hit it on a sunny day and the fall colours were spectacular. Views around the course were beautiful. Can't wait to go back!
Nice links course. Nice greens
Very nice golf course. All Greens were challenging and fun. Lots of slopes. First hole is cart path only and wet. 2/3 of the course is links styles. Nice views. Greens were true and running about 9. Greens were well protected. I would not hesitate to recommend to course.
Lots of trouble
Between long rough and lots of trees, it was easy to find trouble but not so easy to find your ball. Greens were excellent but large and challenging to read. This would not be one of my favourite courses to play but for those who are younger and hit it straight it would be good to play from the men's or the back tees.
Good Value
great value for $28.00. Traps were unplayable because of rains but rest of course in good shape.
above average course for the money
Greens exceptionally fast, undulating and in perfect condition. Fairways are good, rough is not too rough. Needs better drainage after rain. Traps were full of water and some small areas of a couple of fairways were soggy today. Clubhouse/pro shop is in a trailer and there's not much in the pro shop. Snack bar had just a few sandwiches today - nothing hot except coffee. Overall a great course for the money.
Mix of Woodlands and Links
Hidden gem. Nicely laid out course. Some long par 4's with some short par 5's. Clubhouse is not much too speak about
Great potential for this enjoyable course!
Overall the course is in very good shape, challenging greens, & four tee blocks for all levels. Great course for the average golfer. Fairways are fairly wide, although the bunker locations & fescue on several holes may get you in trouble with an errant drive. We encountered several wasps on the front 9, possibly attracted to the apple trees.
The staff were very courteous & professional and make you feel welcome! The course has only been around for 8 or 9 years, and it has great potential to become one of the best courses in the area. The clubhouse is only a small double wide type trailer, but it satisfies your needs with beverages & food, along with a small deck. There is a small putting green & driving range for practice before your round.
A Great Course, a Hidden Gem in the Barrie area Worth The drive from the GTA
A Great Course, a Hidden Gem in the Barrie area, worth the drive from the GTA.
The course does not have a club house. The pace of play was great.... No drinkers on the course how nice.
Tough but Honest
truly worth the price and the drive.
Goggle Maps will put you in the wrong place call the course for directions.
Very friendly club house staff, and starter
A course with a very nice layout and some great holes. Very nicely maintained and a super value

This course has great features
Nice course. Each hole has a different challenge. Well kept greens. We were not able to play the 18 holes due to rain, and were given a raincheck for 18 holes.. will definitely be back
Half woods, half links
Great challenging course with a variety of different holes.
Overall a nice course to play
Course was interesting and has some nice elevation changes. Great Hot Deal price
course was great despite the heavy rain the night before
Course had good challenges due to having to play over environmental hazards
Heritage Hills
Our 4some showed up a little early and they got us off a few minutes early, GREAT. The course is in really good conditions and we found the greens in great shape. Difficult for us duffers but we enjoyed the challenge. Pace of play was right on time so there was no waiting and other than a little preasure from a 2some behind, it was great. The weather cooperated too so all in all a great day.
excellent condition
