About
The Valley Course is a heavily forested golf course is the original layout at the club. The course is unique in that it has relatively short yardages rated with such high slopes mainly due to the tight fairways and numerous elevation changes. The driver will most likely stay in your bag while the long irons will be used often. The golf course is very tight, offering an ideal place to get some practice with irons. It is also provides an ideal warm-up round for the more difficult course at the Horseshoe Resort, the Highlands Course.

The course is beautiful. It is however only 12 holes not 18 as advertised

Course was in excellent condition. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They had ball washers out - great !
Playing as a two some behind two foursomes slowed the pace down a bit - but otherwise a fantastic day.
My favorite course.
Great course that you never get tired of playing and some fantastic scenery. Too. Lots of other activities there as well. Always fun to play there.

NICE COURSE, BUT VERY SLOW
We really enjoy playing this course. The only problem is the pace of play. We have never experienced a steady pace. Without fail, we get backed up by inconsiderate golfers who have no understanding of golf etiquette. Rather than wave us through they continue their very slow game frustrating several groups behind them. This happens every time. There are no marshalls on course. They are badly needed.

Nice course a bit challenging with lots of sand traps and narrow fairways
Course is good but would be better if it was 18 holes
