Wet
The course was very wet due to all the rain we have had.
They had to move blocks forward to make a par 5 into a par 3.
Will play it again under dryer conditions
Great Value
Surprisingly the course was in good condition for this time of year. It was a bit wet in spots from the recent rain, but the greens were in very good shape for this time of year
No temporary greens to putt on
The 10th hole was shortened to a 120 yard par 3, due to the wetness of this fairway
Carts were to be driven on paths or the white lines, due to the dampness in a number of spots
Fairways were mainly in very good shape
Balls plugged on a few holes. Just invoked the life and place rule
Great burgers and a very friendly staff
Definitely worth playing

Potential
Wet conditions and an over populated course dampens the experience, but if you can go when its dry and not busy, its decent value.
Too early, too wet
The course location has some naturaly occuring drainage issues. The front 9 had 2 holes spongy on the fairway, the back 9 had mostly spongy play.
This is a nice layout, and a good value for summer months.

Bang for the Buck
Have played this course multiple times and have always enjoyed my outings. Highly recommend this course for the average golfer. It plays much MUCH better when the conditions are dryer.

Thanksgiving Golf
Thanksgiving golf is getting to be an annual tradition. This year it included 9 holes at Simoro Golf Links. It was even fun even for this guy from FL who was dressed in layers while Canadians played in shorts. Ha.
The course has a lot of potential. It was very wet when we went, so hard to get a normal hit on your ball.
Phenominal
This course is absolutely amazing and I have played here many times in the past and in a variety of weather conditions. Even when its busy its never tooo busy .
the staff has always been great in trying to accommodate everyone and the course has been in very good condition always ,you can tell they really make an effort and that's all you can really ask.
Good value
This course has great value for the money you pay. Challenging course
North of Barrie
Found a very good deal via GolfNow for this course on my way towards Huntsville. Its just north of Barrie, 5-8 min off of hwy 11. We arrived early and the staff who greeted us was very polite and suggested he would get us off earlier than our team time. Within 10 minutes we were off over 30 minutes ahead of our scheduled tee time. The course was nice, your basic rolling course with mature trees lining the fairways. Condition was good, although the course was wet from previous rain. The traps were okay, some had minimal sand. The greens were in good shape, although we must have been following someone who dragged his feet. My wife played the forward tee's and I played the Black tee blocks. Those tee blocks were not maintained and in very poor shape (mostly weeds and dirt). Listening to some regulars, they didn't even know where some of these tee blocks were as they were sometimes parking in front of me while I waited for others in the fairway. Speaking of waiting, this occurred very infrequently. The pace was very good on the front 9 with us being done in 90 min, but the back 9 slowed up and took 2 hours (not bad) for a total of 3-1/2 hours. Pretty good pace overall. The layout was nice and playing from the back tee blocks kept the course challenging for me, while the forward blocks were great for my wife. Hope this helps?

Staff always friendly. Conditions very good today. Pace of play was excellent.
