Nice weather
We had a good day. Course was in good shape despite the amount of rain we have had recently. I will definitely play there again.
Disappointed
I have golfed at Simoro several times and it was my favourite course for the $. But last time I went I was disappointed. The greens and the fairways were in poor condition and were quite torn up. Hopefully these issues are fixed.
Easy to play
Greens are best around. Course in good condition despite all of our horrible cool rainy days. Some tricky holes. Burger after round was delicious. Will definitely play again.
Challenging
Really nice course, greens in excellent shape, some holes still a little wet.
Potential Wasted
This course has trash everywhere, is soaking wet, and the tee decks are inconsistent at best.
It would also have been nice if the Marshall was out checking on things. We were stuck behind two different groups of four and waiting 10-15 minutes to progress because of it. We also couldn't tee off at our time, because there were two other groups on the tee deck at our tee time.
TOURNAMENTS
We have played this course several times usually on Sunday mornings,,, the course is always in great shape,,, the staff are amazing right from Stephanie in the pro shop to the Marshall,,they always treat us with respect, food is always great,, and they have specials quite frequently,,, For the past three years we have held oour work tournament there ,, and will again this year,,, all you have to do is call,, and they look after , absolutely everything,,, you basically just need to show up with golfers,,,Would I recommend this course,,,,, YES,, in a heartbeat,,
Great Shape for a fall day.
It was busy for November day, the course was in good shape considering the time of year. The greens had been airated so a little bumpy but still the putts went fairly straight. The fairways had most of the leaves cleaned off so finding your ball was easier than expected. .... The staff are friendly and helpful as well. I have never had a bad meal here and will eat here anytime. All and all an enjoyable experience.

Very short course. Doesn't require and long irons or metal woods. Plays like a good Par 3 Executive course.

Enjoyable Course
Played numerous times and very much enjoyed the challenge without getting too frustrated. In my mid seventies and now shoot mostly bogey golf on this course, which is pretty satisfying. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Good value
I have played Simoro several times booking through Golfnow and would highly recommend this course. The staff ( George in the Pro shop ) have always been very friendly and accommodating in allowing us to tee off earlier than our booked time. This is not the case with other courses I have played. The course itself is in very good condition with excellent greens. I may consider a membership next year.
Great layout
This is an exciting course to play
Hidden Gem
Tucked away just 5 min north of Barrie on Penetanguishene rd I think this course offers a lot to the average golfer to get out and play on a good course for an great rate.
Staff is always super friendly and course is well maintained and has a driving range and a practice green close to pro shop for a good warm up before your round.
Fun With Friends
I had A good time playing with friends the cores is in good shape considering the lack of rain this year. Simoro is good round of golf for anyone if you chews the wright tees for your skill level.
Always a good, fun round at Simoro!
The course is always in good shape with good greens. The staff is great and they offer many different food and beverage options. You could easily walk or ride the course.

Nothing great
The course is ok it's a smaller course good for beginners. Don't think there yardage sticks were on at all. The greens are in good shape but the overall landscaping of the course could use some TLC. I booked a 1:15 tee time didn't get on till almost 1:30. The pace of play was horrible the group in front me actually skipped 3 holes cause they where tired of waiting but said they still got caught behind,this all on a Friday afternoon. I wouldn't play there again unless it was a really good deal it was just around 40 for the round and cart but to me it wasn't worth it mostly cause of the pace of play some holes I was waiting 10 to 15 mins on each shot felt like I was stuck on the 404 northbound Friday afternoon and not on a golf course
