About
Nestled in the quaint village of Binbrook, Southbrook Golf Club has a charmingly idyllic yet convenient location that is only minutes from the QEW, the 403, and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. The club first opened in 1969 with a nine-hole golf course, which was later expanded to 18 holes in 1972. A renovation of the golf course resulted in a redesign of five holes on the front nine and a new irrigation system. Southbrook Golf Club now plays to a 6,560 yards and its new challenges demand precision and keen course strategy. The meandering Welland river snakes through the golf course as well, coming into play on 13 holes while also enhancing the natural beauty of the course.

Good day
Staff is great, amenities are great, front 9 is in good shape, back 9 greens have already been areated so tough to putt, tee boxes are pretty hammered from the season, lots of unfixed ball marks on greens (thats on ignorant players) small greens make for a tough but enjoyable round. Was a pricey round for this late in the season, especially when it's posted as a "hot" deal - round, cart, taxes, service fees 92.00? People were friendly and the beer was cold 👍 will play again, but will try for a better deal.
The course only had 15 holes open… which is fine when you know ahead of time. We werent told and paid full rate.
Wish the course was finished
I love playing Southbrook, ownership but they have a hole that’s been under construction for two years now. It throws off my golf watch and it’s really frustrating that it still isn’t finished.
Good Course
the course is nicely layout especially the back nine. Taking out a par three on the old #12 an changing the old 13 par 5 to a new par 3 and par 4. The only problem it has not been update to Sky Caddie. it showed the old layout. but that was ok.
Didn’t match offer on golf now
Unfortunately got to the course only to find out that they were not allowing carts on the course and I have a bad knee and had to walk. The deal was with a cart but no discount for not getting cart
Take 2:30 hours
It took 2 hours and 30 minutes to play 9 holes, but it was frustrating because the group ahead was really slow.
It’s crowded, but green conditions was good
I played 9 holes, and it took 2 hours and 30 minutes. Even though it was a weekday afternoon, the course was crowded, and we had to wait frequently between holes. However, the condition of the greens was quite good.
Poor experience
Pace of play was terrible. Guys in front of us dressed in t-shirts and track pants and their play showed. Young kids playing the course also didn’t help. Course in poor shape for what seems to be never ending course construction. Worse experience of the year
