Glen Eagle Golf Club - Red/Blue
About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

Great conditions
I got a great deal through Golfnow. I would definitely play there again.
Pros:
- great conditions
- did not feel rushed
- Challenging and interesting hold layouts
Cons:
- Cart girl served a deformed beer and did not apologize for it
- For some reason, it took close to 5 hours to finish: guess it was the 39C weather
- didn't get a hole in hole
Nice course for the money
No such thing as cart path golf! the course does not have cart paths along each hole so if the course is playable you can take the cart to your ball even in puring rain - awesome (obviously we should use some common sense to not ruin the fairways). Overall a very nice course.
Good day
Pleasant surprise. Good variety.tip top shape? Greens were true and quick
Great Shape and Great Value for the money.
Greens are very quick and in great shape. Pleasure to play here always. I would say that this is one of the top places to play in the G.T.A.
Great value
This course was well maintained and was a great value. Not the most challenging course, but consistent fast greens, and great yardage.
Always a challenge!
Glen Eagle's 3 nines provide lots of challenges, both from the length of the holes, some slanted fairways and and fast greens. I've been playing this course for years, and never get bored. My only critism is that they should have more marshalls to speed up the play.
Green is superb, fairway like carpet, public course but with private quality
One of the best public course for the money, challenge to all level players, the tree lines are not easy to avoid, need hit straight to get better chance for approaching shot
Great Course
Had a blast -- very challenging... im not too expereinced but staff was nice and course was great
Good value for the cost. But busy. Don't be in a hurry.
Good layout. A little shaggy, rough a little long. Very nice greens. Like all courses, needs drop zones to speed up play.
Beutiful Course. fun to play
Just had a great experience. Staff is great. Turf crew is considerate and stops working when you are around. Just perfect.
the customer always comes first at Glen Eagle
From the proshop staff to the starter I have never been treated so well by any other course in the GTA. Thank-you for being so helpful accommodating and professional. Your team is by far the best I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.
Fun course!
Played the red 9 then the blue 9. Course was fairly well maintained. Greens are massive and well groomed. Very little water to contend with which makes the course a bit more forgiving. Located in picturesque Caledon, ON. Definitely good value.
Challenging, fun course
I booked my round less than two hours to tee time on golf now.
I made it on time. The two players I was supposed to be paired up with did not show up on time. The starter was very accommodating and offered to pair me up with others as it was busy or honour my booked tee time and play my round as single. The service is super friendly and the course is in superb condition.
Not to bad
Not a bad course would have liked to see 1-2 more par 3's for the round!!! Really long straight course
Good course and golf experience
The fairways were is good condition and they have improved some of the tee boxes. The greens had recently been aerated so were sandy and slow. However, that bodes well for future rounds.
Great staff
I gave this course a 5 star rating mainly due to the backshop guys who found my 60 degree wedge I had misplaced. I was very happy to retrieve my club and was glad they found it. And in addition to that, they managed the course well by allowing our group to play the red 9 after we finished our 1st 9 on a slow Sunday afternoon since the Nine & Dine had finished. This allowed us to finish the remainder of the round much quicker!
Great service! You can play at Glen Eagle with confidence in their staff and service!
Thanks
27 holes in a great country setting
Course is in great shape. Well marshalled. Friendly staff.
Course was almost in pristine shape. Another couple weeks and will be very good!
The course was in fairly good shape. Give it another couple weeks, let the rainy weather dry up the course, and it will be in very good shape. The greens were not rolled yet, so they were playing fairly slow. Sand bunkers were also a bit damp.
Very nice course but
I've played this course numerous times in the past and have always found it to be in very nice condition. Greens in excellent shape however this time I was disappointed to find no ball washers on the course or on the carts and no rakes around the sand traps leaving them all with many footprints and in bad shape. Was not expecting this here. On a good note when one in our group was noticed walking with a very bad limp, a staff member placed a handicap flag on the cart. Very appreciated.
This is a fairly challenging course.
Our foursome enjoyed the course. It was in an excellent condition for this time of the year.
