Replay!
Booked a round for 130 and finished pretty early as it was myself. I went to do a replay and with no problem the friendly staff got me on right after!! The timing worked out. I really appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the two staff members at the front desk. Thank you very much. The course itself is very easygoing and VERY enjoyable. I would 100 percent recommend to anyone who wants an enjoyable 9 hole.
Great challenging course for a quick round
Course is only a par 34 but plays harder the most par 36 nine holes. Layout is great and greens are challenging.
Rude Staff
I’ve been golfing at Legacy Pines for two years and was seriously considering purchasing a summer membership. Unfortunately, after today’s experience, I won’t be returning.
I had two tee times booked for 11:10 and 11:20 for a full 18 holes, one for a twosome and one for a threesome, making up our group of five. There was no starter present to manage tee-offs, which led to early tee-offs, crowding, and general confusion. As we waited behind a slow walking group, our twosome and threesome naturally merged into a fivesome to keep pace and avoid bottlenecks.
By 11:20, a group that shouldn't have been on the tee yet had already caught up and complained. While I understand fivesomes may go against course policy, the core issue was the lack of pace-of-play enforcement and tee-time oversight. Our group continued catching up to slower players ahead and wasn’t holding anyone up, but instead of addressing the larger congestion issues, staff chose to remove us from the course.
On our way out we passed several groups bunched up across just two holes. The course was clearly backed up and we felt unfairly singled out. Rather than managing the flow of play, the response felt rigid and disconnected from the realities of a public golf course.
To add to the frustration, when I raised my concerns I was told that my business didn’t matter, this despite the fact I had paid for two tee times and was inquiring about membership. Ironically, the course has yet to issue a refund so I’ve since filed a dispute through my credit card provider.
It’s unfortunate. The course itself is in great shape, but poor management and customer service overshadow the experience. I’d recommend playing elsewhere if you’re looking for a more welcoming and professionally run environment.
Great 9 hole, challenging
Loved playing this course. Ome of the best 9holes I've ever played. Each hole is very different, with its own unique challenges. Good luck.
Excellent Condition, Wonderful Staff, Challenging 9 hole
Great course
The Best Kept Secret
Highly Recommend: One of the best courses around, greens in excellent condition, and marshalls and starters keep a great pace of play. A challenging 9 holes
Awesome 9 hole course
Really enjoy playing at Legacy Pines. Is challenging and fun course. Really well maintained and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone
Beautiful day
Diverse course that sits amongst beautiful setting especially this time of the year. The course today October 24 2020 was in great condition. Short and narrow shoots played amongst pines and colours Oh Canada !
No long game
They should post hole information on the website because I would not have booked if I knew the yardage was that small. I felt like I was using my pitching wedge all the time. Otherwise course was very scenic.
To be honest the owners should rebrand the course as more of a "Beginner's Course" that caters to new golfers who want to practice before moving onto a bigger course.
Pretty part of the world - good course for walking. Some challenges - great for slightly more than beginner golfers
Where do I start....
Extremely unfriendly and uncooperative staff.
No power carts- our friend could not walk due to bad knees and so he did not golf.
Advertise for seniors - no way- have to be a mountain goat to walk this course.
The course is in nice shape- tight course but nice fairways and greensRough is deep - so keep it in play
No food or drinks-Very expensive for pull carts
Private residential course trying to go public but doesn't know how.....
It is a good thing...
that this course is so picturesque and in great condition because if you go on the receptionist you first meet, you would not try it. There is no greeting, no smile and really a very cold reception. Felt like we intruding.
BUT the course is definitely worth it.
Not such a great deal
The course lacks many standard features
sand in the bunkers, a second cut around the greens, food and beverage.
Golf hound!
Cart is necessary!
The course was nice, however, unless you are a mountain goat, or are in incredibly great physical condition, it is very hilly, and a cart is highly recommended.
Don't waste your money
Sand Traps made of concrete and NO beer, NO food. The course has lots of bird droppings on the greens.
Wonderful little community course. Semi private
very high power cart prices of $11.00 per person plus tax for 9 holes. Way above standard for like courses.
A big deterrent for those not able to walk. They only have 4 or 5 carts on the property.
surprising great conditions
Course seemed confused over rates was in excellent condition. Lots of variety and terrian. Certainly recommend for a fun nine holes.
Not really set up for non-member play; staff seem confused over fees and despite a coupon we paid more than would at eighteen hole course. But definitely worth a try.
