You go golfing for relaxing enjoyment. But NOT here! Mid-week mid- day. Empty Course.Some grounds staff, "Chris Kringle-like" in particular think they are running Glen Abbey. Before even starting the 1st hole we (1-senior and 1-adult) are accosted in the parking lot, "we have golf standards here, regulation attire is required, you can buy a proper shirt in the pro shop" Excuse me ?? And leaving the 9th hole we are again approached by the same individual who comes running out from the club-house to the 9th green swearing and yelling about where our cart is positioned. Totally unacceptable staff behaviour. Not Recommended.

This is a perfect 9 hole experience for a quick round to work on your game, introduce beginners or young ones to the sport and enjoy scenic Golf nested in a beautiful retirement community.

Back to back to back players and had to wait at every single hole for 2+ groups.

Course was very enjoyable. Friendly, accommodating staff. Members at the course are extremely friendly. Amazing experience. Will play again.

Fun course with lots of challenging greens. Not too busy. Hitting straight is a must.

Booked a round for 130 and finished pretty early as it was myself. I went to do a replay and with no problem the friendly staff got me on right after!! The timing worked out. I really appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the two staff members at the front desk. Thank you very much. The course itself is very easygoing and VERY enjoyable. I would 100 percent recommend to anyone who wants an enjoyable 9 hole.

Course is only a par 34 but plays harder the most par 36 nine holes. Layout is great and greens are challenging.

I’ve been golfing at Legacy Pines for two years and was seriously considering purchasing a summer membership. Unfortunately, after today’s experience, I won’t be returning.

I had two tee times booked for 11:10 and 11:20 for a full 18 holes, one for a twosome and one for a threesome, making up our group of five. There was no starter present to manage tee-offs, which led to early tee-offs, crowding, and general confusion. As we waited behind a slow walking group, our twosome and threesome naturally merged into a fivesome to keep pace and avoid bottlenecks.

By 11:20, a group that shouldn't have been on the tee yet had already caught up and complained. While I understand fivesomes may go against course policy, the core issue was the lack of pace-of-play enforcement and tee-time oversight. Our group continued catching up to slower players ahead and wasn’t holding anyone up, but instead of addressing the larger congestion issues, staff chose to remove us from the course.

On our way out we passed several groups bunched up across just two holes. The course was clearly backed up and we felt unfairly singled out. Rather than managing the flow of play, the response felt rigid and disconnected from the realities of a public golf course.

To add to the frustration, when I raised my concerns I was told that my business didn’t matter, this despite the fact I had paid for two tee times and was inquiring about membership. Ironically, the course has yet to issue a refund so I’ve since filed a dispute through my credit card provider.

It’s unfortunate. The course itself is in great shape, but poor management and customer service overshadow the experience. I’d recommend playing elsewhere if you’re looking for a more welcoming and professionally run environment.

Loved playing this course. Ome of the best 9holes I've ever played. Each hole is very different, with its own unique challenges. Good luck.
