Club at Bond Head - North

We had a great time. Weather was fantastic and the course very challenging. Greens were difficult to read and get the right pace.

One of the nicest courses I have ever played! Challenging but fair, and some breathtaking views. However it took me 4.5 hours to play 13 holes and was forced to quit due to darkness and was very very disappointed I did not get to finish! They really need a course marshal to keep the pace of play up to par. They have more than enough staff and even have a person playing bagpipes so there is no reason they don't have one. I would love to go back, but I am not a fan of 6 hour rounds.

Great course and very challenging. A lot of elevation changes with tee boxes and greens.

First time playing North Course and was very happy with outing. Played South course and couple times before and there was little to no marshalling and we were behind a crawling foursome who backlogged many groups, buy today on North course, Marshall kept popping up every 3 or 4 holes to actually tell us how our pace was which was great to see. Also, course very picturesque and tough, but not unfair. My first time on this 18, so misclubbed on a few due to elevation changes, blind pin placement, etc. but really enjoyed the round. Considering all the hazards, fescue, etc I am amazed that I played with the same ball for 18 holes !! Rare for me. Thanks Titleist Pro v1x . Would highly recommend course if you are beyond beginner stage. This course is not for Newbies. Must be pretty in the fall. Will go back and play again then.

Fun course to play but extremely challenging..............lots of long carries off the tee..............bunkers very deep and tough to get out of.............greens were lightning fast...............pace of play was pretty slow for a Thursday afternoon

I love this course. It's challenging, the greens are tough and the course is in great shape.
They started charging $7.50 for using the range.....ridiculous.
I will probably not play here anymore since I have to pay to use a range with matts!

We arrived early for some lunch and to warm up at driving range. But was surprised to have to pay $7.50 for driving range. Next time I'll eat else where and hit a bucket at home range. New management I heard. Fire him!
But enough whining. The course is very challenging, excellent condition and very difficult pin placement. Keep up the good work!

this course is not for beginners. Don't play here unless you are hitting your driver well. There are several force carries off the tee. Greens are all raised and have severe slope. Greens are fast and hold the line even late in the day. Very nice starter and Marshall. I witnessed an unfortunate incident between a member and a public player...lots of profanity. I don't think the members want us non members on the course?

My buddies wanted to play the North course, all had played the south and I kept telling them there was no comparison. They now agree. This course can be a monster. Extreme elevation changes, real tough greens, forced carries, etc. Arrived checked in everyone was very friendly. The cart was a little rickety, but no real issue. Only knock may have been the bunkers had very little sand in them. (I know your not supposed to be in them), but there are tons of bunkers to find, and we did find a few. Several greens have false fronts, which can be cruel. Really enjoyed the day. We did not have our "A" games but still had fun.

NORTH COURSE Played 11AM ish : It was about 38C with humidity. steamy.
Took a 1/2 hour to get a western sandwhich in restaurant before tee time. Had to gulp it down to make tee time. Overheard a conversation in proshop between staff/kid + manager... Kid: should I get out the bucket of tees.. MGR: NO! there are more than enough in the golf cart for these guys.
Felt like a second class citizen: with names displayed on cart with BIG PRINT GOLFNOW players.
Saw the beverage cart once all day on the 5th hole after asking the marshall on the 3rd, if they were out yet. Saw I guy in the parking lot afterwards indicating he almost puked on the 14th because of lack of liquids/ bev cart.
Greens are terrible.. every hole was placed on the highest crest/ridge.. there wasn't a flat section bigger than 4' X 4' on each hole... This is the only reason why it was challenging.. Greens are just as undulating as the course. Will never see myself at this course again... Boo clublink!

Called the course and asked if there were any tournaments going on, they replied a shot gun tournament would end by 2:00PM. We arrived early for our 2:20 start time and the course was 20 minutes behind. On the first tee we learned there was a second tournament that started at 1:30PM. It took 57 minutes to play 2 holes. We walked off the course and asked for a refund. Too bad it looked like a nice track. I will not be returning.

Very challenging course playing from the gold tee.

My observation is that I could not believe they put a golf course on this land. It was a classic "good walk spoiled" in that it would have been a beautiful hike. Not so much a golf course. Most of the holes have extreme elevation changes, up and down. Several holes have blind shots, and lots of lengthy forced carries. There were several holes where there was no margin for error - with huge drop offs around the green in 3 directions and hazard on the fourth. And then there were the greens. Extremely fast - except for those holes where they were extremely slow. Several greens had huge ridges in the middle, leaving it virtually impossible to get the ball close on your first put. And, with a risk of hitting it just right and still having the put roll 40 yards off the green. In short, a single digit handicapper might enjoy this course; but for anyone else, it is bound to be an extremely frustrating day.

Very unique in the GTA. Private course conditions. Slower than usual pace but that was due more to my group playing for 1st time there than any other reason. Good thing the weather was good eg not windy because it would be far harder with any breeze. Will be back.

You must play here. Awesome challenge, very scenic.

The course was in great condition, greens were very quick.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the course is considering many reviews I had read stating it was too hilly. Only a couple holes (2 and 6) are over the top with elevation, and of those, only 6 I would consider to be a poor hole. Fairways are very wide, and need to be considering the severity of the rough and the wind. Awesome staff and starter. About as good of a design and experience one could hope for considering the land it was built on. Unbelievably good pace of play for a late morning tee time on holiday Monday. 3 hours 55 minutes. Eager to get back to play the South course.

Beautiful course with some of the most challenging greens you'll see. Scenic backdrops really add to the experience. The staff however, was extremely rude and failed to show any sense of customer service. The course marshal however was just rude and make the round feel rushed. Did not allow anytime to appreciate the shot, the hole, or the course. Unfortunate that this beautiful day had to be soiled by one individual.

My brother and I are low handicap golfers and have wanted to give this track a go and boy were we rewarded. Great staff got us off early and checked in with us numerous times through out the round - the half way house are cart staff also awesome. The greens were quick and smooth and the course was in top notch condition. One note we played the North from the blues but there are 6 holes where we will play the whites next time because even after great drives we had 180/200 yards in and with those greens it doesn't exactly work. We will be back that's for sure as the great golf is matched by the stunning views and nice staff.

The Club at Bondhead offers stunning views, especially from the many elevated tee boxes. This course is both challenging and rewarding.
