Club at Bond Head - North

Called the course and asked if there were any tournaments going on, they replied a shot gun tournament would end by 2:00PM. We arrived early for our 2:20 start time and the course was 20 minutes behind. On the first tee we learned there was a second tournament that started at 1:30PM. It took 57 minutes to play 2 holes. We walked off the course and asked for a refund. Too bad it looked like a nice track. I will not be returning.

My observation is that I could not believe they put a golf course on this land. It was a classic "good walk spoiled" in that it would have been a beautiful hike. Not so much a golf course. Most of the holes have extreme elevation changes, up and down. Several holes have blind shots, and lots of lengthy forced carries. There were several holes where there was no margin for error - with huge drop offs around the green in 3 directions and hazard on the fourth. And then there were the greens. Extremely fast - except for those holes where they were extremely slow. Several greens had huge ridges in the middle, leaving it virtually impossible to get the ball close on your first put. And, with a risk of hitting it just right and still having the put roll 40 yards off the green. In short, a single digit handicapper might enjoy this course; but for anyone else, it is bound to be an extremely frustrating day.

Very unique in the GTA. Private course conditions. Slower than usual pace but that was due more to my group playing for 1st time there than any other reason. Good thing the weather was good eg not windy because it would be far harder with any breeze. Will be back.

You must play here. Awesome challenge, very scenic.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the course is considering many reviews I had read stating it was too hilly. Only a couple holes (2 and 6) are over the top with elevation, and of those, only 6 I would consider to be a poor hole. Fairways are very wide, and need to be considering the severity of the rough and the wind. Awesome staff and starter. About as good of a design and experience one could hope for considering the land it was built on. Unbelievably good pace of play for a late morning tee time on holiday Monday. 3 hours 55 minutes. Eager to get back to play the South course.

Beautiful course with some of the most challenging greens you'll see. Scenic backdrops really add to the experience. The staff however, was extremely rude and failed to show any sense of customer service. The course marshal however was just rude and make the round feel rushed. Did not allow anytime to appreciate the shot, the hole, or the course. Unfortunate that this beautiful day had to be soiled by one individual.

My brother and I are low handicap golfers and have wanted to give this track a go and boy were we rewarded. Great staff got us off early and checked in with us numerous times through out the round - the half way house are cart staff also awesome. The greens were quick and smooth and the course was in top notch condition. One note we played the North from the blues but there are 6 holes where we will play the whites next time because even after great drives we had 180/200 yards in and with those greens it doesn't exactly work. We will be back that's for sure as the great golf is matched by the stunning views and nice staff.

The Club at Bondhead offers stunning views, especially from the many elevated tee boxes. This course is both challenging and rewarding.

The course was is awesome condition and well kept. Problem is the deal that GolfNow setup with Bondhead was not honored by Bondhead. We were supposed to receive 2 sleeves of Pro V1 but Bondhead refused to give us the balls which were part of the package when we purchased the round of golf on GolfNow. They kept on saying it was something that we need to get from GolfNow. They were kinda rude...

Great course excellent condition. In spite of it raining quite heavy at times the greens were very fast and rolled true. Highly recommend the tack.

The overall course is extremely beautiful. Challenging with great par 3's and difficult elevated holes. I did find the greens to be extremely challenging and fast with crazy grade change. But this course makes you a better golfer no matter what. Had a great day at bond head and would definitely go back.

This course is different from others in good way.
We enjoy our round greatly and go back again.

Enjoyed our first time at the north course. Amazing views and tough reaching the fairway for me on some of the holes that have a long carry. Next time white tees for me!!!

Good course, but not recommended if you shoot in the 90". You won't enjoy the round and very fast green and tough fairway.

The marshal did not move people along. I can appreciate that it was cart-path only, but by the afternoon it would not have been a problem to do 90 degrees I think. 5 1/2 hours is just too long, no matter how tough the course is. Many golfers I know do not play very well when you are standing around too much, and 3 of the 4 of us suffered, and a course that tough is no place to be playing poorly. Greens were fantastic and the golf course is a piece of art....breath taking. If you are a bogie golfer play from the whites, no matter what you think the yardage implies. Unless something is done about the pace of play, though, I won't go back, no matter how nice it is!

Its a Highlands course so the elevations were insane. The greens are extremely difficult. If you enjoy a challenge this course was lots of fun.

Great layout for the most part. Some pretty crazy uphill holes that are a bit wild but they blend in well.
The greens were fantastic. Really responsive. Super fast but you could still spin approach shots. Putts always rolled true on their line.

Pro shop and bev cart were very friendly. Only issue I had was the Marshall, who we had to plead with to give us towels in the pouring rain. He only had "Clublink Member Towels" with the logo on them and was hesitant but credit to him, he realized how ridiculous this was and gave them to us.

I imagine this is course/Clublink policy... Just a heads up, get some towels for your regular guests! Any decent public course I have played on provides towels. So why wouldn't a course that is supposed to be better than a public course?
