Golfer Reviews
On the right track
Over the last few years, this place has really improved. At its core, this is a fantastic long ball 9 hole course. 3 par 5s 3 par4s 3 par3s? for $28?
Lower your expectations, as this place is still improving. That said, the course design is awesome, and a great stress free place for newer players. Recently renovated bathroom and deck look really nice. Did I mention THREE PAR 5S!? Greens are rolling great this season. $28 is a steal, and I expect the price to have changed by the end of the season if these improvements continue. Sorry for formatting, on mobile.
First round
Overall the course wasn’t very busy so it was ideal for the first round of the year. Understandably understaffed when it came to the grounds crew as the conditions were quite poor but again the ground was wet as it is still early in the year. They made the best they could of the situation and would be interested to see what it is like during peak season.
Getting better
Really trying to fix this place up going to be really nice considering the price this summer
The course is getting better
The course is much better than last year and it is getting better day by day. There is the ongoing renovation of the course which makes the course looks way better than previous years, but the course is a bit expensive compared to the other 9 hole courses, probably because it is the longest course in Ontario. I will strongly recommend the course now than last year
Long course, greens are good, fairways okay, Some tee markers were missing
Overall it was challenging from the blues or whites. Playing from the Reds would be more like an average legth course. But i challenged my self and play the blues, then the whites on the replay.
Cow Pasture
Very little grass on the fairways. Bunkers are not maintained. No tee blocks on 9th hole. What looked like tees had grass about 4 inches long.
Nice property, It needs someone to care about it. Not really sure why they are operating a golf course there.
Will not be back. only worth about $15.00
