Burlington Springs Golf Club
About
Situated along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, Burlington Springs Golf Club offers the most scenic and affordable round in the area. While not quite a championship layout, the golf course does feature some longer holes that play alongside dense, mature forest. There are also some interesting water elements, including an underground reservoir that feeds several ponds that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and heavily guarded by strategically placed bunkers and while the rest of the course is relatively flat, there is some undulation in the fairways. Burlington Springs is a traditional course that is both challenging and manageable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels.

First time playing at Burlington Springs Golf & Country Club
I was pleasantly surprised with this course. The tees, greens and fairways were in good to above average condition. Wide fairways accommodate high handicap players. The rough was short enough to locate mishits. Large greens made landing shots in regulation possible. I would definitely return to play at this course.
Decent course with a number of tee options
The pro shop was expedient and cordial in pairing up this single with a twosome so that golf was enjoyable. The blue tee option is a nice alternative to playing the very front tees for the shorter
hitter. Some of the greens had huge chunks out of them which looked like vandalism or a machine gone wrong. Greens were also quite slow. The cart person was around several times to check on golfers which is good since it seems there isn't water on public golf courses any more. All in all it was a nice golfing day once I gently told the guys I was playing with to refrain from going on up to the green before I'd hit my approach shot. Some of us can't get on in regulation
and I don't think 3 shots to a par 4 is any crime.
Fun Course for Mid to High Handicapper
Not too punishing but tough enough that you'll have to play smart and well to score well.
Nice Course
They were on time and we only had to wait at a few holes. Pace of play was good. Grounds have been maintained very well. I would go back again for sure.
Nice course but the greens were grainy and very slow
This was the second time I played this course. The first time was last year. The course, overall appeared to be better maintained this except for the Greens. The Greens are good size, undulated and overall well constructed. They needed cutting and rolling to make them little fast.
Well-designed
Except the 4 holes in the front 9 that run side by side and can be boring, this course is overall enjoyable. Because there are no ups and downs, no real challenges, I usually come here for a practice round or come with beginners.
A nice park like course which is fair
Nice old style park like course which if you do not place yr shots well you will get penalized... a pleasant day out... Greens were good.As compared to other courses in the GTA very good value.... will be back!
Easy to get around.
Great day to play golf, one of the better courses around. Good value.
Burlington Springs
great day and the greens were excellent. course is in great shape and well worth the drive to play.
Very playable course.
I found Burlington Springs to be very playable. It didn't deat you up but it wasn't a cake walk either. Staff was great, the cart girl even went back to get a sandwich for one of our foursome.
Had a fun day and shot pretty well too.
Very Friendly. Not easy, not too challenging... just right.
Visit began well. Pro Shop lady (acting as Starter also) was very friendly, bantering and laughing with some regulars as I approached. No surprise she kept up her good humour with me as well. Online reservation was handled smoothly.
Course was in great shape. Playing a little soft due to lots of rain earlier in the week. Very few puddles though which means drainage is good. Every hole is different at least somewhat from the rest. Some quite unique holes.
Marshall had to give us a "speed up" warning at one point which was handled with diplomacy and courtesy. A few holes later he came by again and thanked us for picking up the pace and catching up.
A very enjoyable experience.
Sloppy when wet
I wouldn't recommend playing this course after a rainfall. The course had drainage issues on a number of holes. Large puddles on the fairway which make play difficult. If you miss the fairway the rough is thick. When it's also wet it's very difficult to get out. The sand traps were like cement due to the wetness and very difficult to determine the bounce. In dry conditions the course would play much easier.
Not a fan of having a large tree in the middle of the fairway to protect the green. This course has this feature on at least 5 or 6 holes - which is too much for my liking.
Challenging enough for the accomplished golfer yet enjoyable and encouraging enough for the novice.
Friendly staff, beautiful course, variety of holes and convenient location at a reasonable rate. Would definitely play here again.
Course is maintained with friendly staff.
Play this course on a regular basis. It is in very good shape. Staff are friendly and good deals on clothes in the pro shop. Played 4 3/4 hrs on Sunday usually 4 to 4 1/4. Marshals need to deal firmly with slow players and those lacking golf knowledge. A bell at no.5 and 18 around 150 yd marker is suggested to inform when it is ok to tee off. Stay on the fairway as it can be tricky hitting out of the rough.
Review of Burlington Springs Golf and Country Club
The course was in good shape. It is a fun course to play as there are a couple interesting holes. Not overly long nor tough. Would recommend to other players.
too many geese
The course is good.....too much goose droppings on and around the 17th and 18th hole. Need to somehow control them- ? dogs like other courses?
Fabulous experience for the average golfer.
The course is rather open and in great condition, both greens and fairways. The weather was perfect, and the Golf Now rates allowed us to afford a cart for a reasonable price. We can't wait to play it again.
Very forgiving fairways (ie. wide)
I sincerely enjoyed this course, the greens and fairways are excellent and the course is challenging but fun!
