Burlington Springs Golf Club
About
Situated along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, Burlington Springs Golf Club offers the most scenic and affordable round in the area. While not quite a championship layout, the golf course does feature some longer holes that play alongside dense, mature forest. There are also some interesting water elements, including an underground reservoir that feeds several ponds that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and heavily guarded by strategically placed bunkers and while the rest of the course is relatively flat, there is some undulation in the fairways. Burlington Springs is a traditional course that is both challenging and manageable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels.

this course was good for what I paid
decent course. front 9 was fairly bland and short, but back 9 had better landscape and overall was a fun course to play. I would go back again
TERRIBLE
terrible ownership, was forced to wait 25 min past my tee time because I did not check in 20 min early. Because of that our 3.5 hour typical round took us 4.5 hours. The grounds were not maintained and we lost many balls in the long grass.
I would not recommend this course purely because of the female owner that ruined the first couple holes for our group and the group in front of us.
Golf now was great and helped me make the situation right.
Worst costumer service ever!!!
Arrived in pro shop 12 mins before tee time. Was told By the overweight, angry lady I was late and other groups would be placed ahead. She claims you needed to arrive 20 mins before your tee time ( seems arbitrary as I have never heard this standard in my 25 yrs of golf). On my way out of pro shop she starts complaining to the next costumer in line (a regular) about me. When my group reaches the tee, the group prior to us who also booked through golf now had the exact same experience!
Terrible costumer service = zero repeat business!
Quite interesting layout with water in play on several holes, off fairway rough is challeging.
Our foursome teed off on time, 7.35am on a Saturday morning & completed our round in 3hrs 50 mins which we considered satisfactory as was our appreciation and enjoyment of the course.
Overall good experience
Check in and pace of play were very acceptable. One minor complaint is the rough was a little too long to facilitate a faster pace. Balls would just disappear in the rough. Possibly due to all the recent rain some of the low areas were still soaking wet.
Tees and greens are improved from past years
Good for a stress free, enjoyable round.
Course was in very good condition, even after heavy rain the night before. Greens immaculate. Not busy for a Sunday morning. Rough is short but tough to get out of. Some interesting shorter par fours that can bite you.
Clubhouse is fair.
Great course at a great value!!!
First time playing this course, and would definitely come back. it was challenging and maintained pristinely.
You don't lose balls
This club was fun to play, we'll kept but the best thing was although the rough shortened your next shot you always found your ball. Trees placed well that also punished the wayward drive.
Clubhouse could do with a makeover is the only negative.
Well worth playing.
Greens were consistent and speed of play was good
Staff in pro shop were "business first" and certainly did not offer the normal warm and friendly smile. Had one marshal advise us that we were approx. 2 minutes behind when we got to the 8th tee!!! Course was in good shape but could have had the rough cut a bit lower as the ball was not easily found outside of the fairways. Maybe that is where we lost our 2 minutes. Would still recommend the course as it was good value overall.
Older style course with holes that are good for any handicap
Rough was very thick, but playable, sand traps could use some attention.Greens were in great condition.
Well maintained course
Although the clubhouse is very dated, the course makes up for it. It is a good challenge with plenty of holes to score on. The greens are in great shape and the fairways are well kept. At $39 with a cart booked as a Hot Deal, this was a great deal. Best deal I've got this year.
Worst golf experience of the year thus far
Booked a 7:30 a.m. hot deal through golfnow for a great price with the cart included. Upon arriving 30 minutes prior to the tee time after driving 45 minutes to get there, we were rudely informed that we should not be allowed to take power carts as we were under the age of 26. Being 3 men of the age of 21 who have all worked at various golf courses and play to single digit handicaps we do our best to be presentable and respect the rules of the course.
However, after photocopying our drivers' licenses and generally making us feel as though we were in the wrong for booking a golfnow tee time, they finally allowed us to take a cart at which time we were told to immediately tee off 15 minutes before our time, given no chance to even hit a few putts on the practice green. Upon completion of the round we went to the pro shop to return an iPod we found on the golf course at which point the woman in the pro shop radioed the marshal right in front of us asking him to "Please inspect the carts that the minors just brought back" before she would give us the photocopy of our driver's licenses back.
All around an awful experience with the staff, will not be willing to make the drive to return to this course simply because of the way we were treated.
Would not recommend this course to anyone under the age of 26 as the staff appeared to assume anyone in this age range will be disruptive and reckless.
Altho time of play and food were average, the golf course is very enjoyable and dominated my experience
5 hr round made worse by 2 of our group not showing up and they didnt fill in the 2 empty spots. Food adequate at best, but not there for the food. Found the course mature and pleasing to the eye, but, really enjoyed playing a non-intimidating course, yet a reasonable challenge (too many courses nowadays suit only superior players). I am considering becoming a member because of this (ie - member at pleasant course, green fees at more challenging courses)
long
nice course, but overbooked on weekends. I've played during the week, and pace is great, but on a nice sunday, there were two groups of 4 stacked at each tee ahead of us.
Pretty good
the golf course was in good shape and the greens were very good.....the rough was very tough and long ( lots of rain ), took some time to find your ball at times, over all I thought it was pretty good...I haven't played the course in 15 years and was impressed how mature it has become.
my home course
Deb always has a warm welcome. greens are in good shape, the rough will eat your ball
Course says best value in GTA. This is not true at all. More like a course you would want to play if you have at ight budget

Very nice course.
The course was in very good condition. The rough was quite thick. An interesting variety of hole layouts. Some of the putting greens were quite deceiving. Overall I enjoyed playing there and would come back.
Great value, nice course
This was my third time to Burlington Springs (first time this year) and the course is really well kept. The wide open fairways are forgiving, but if you miss, the rough can leave you some tough lies.
Three Budweiser cost $21.90. They ran out of other brands because they said they had a busy weekend. Options were Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra.
