New Course -Hidden Lake (Lake Medad)
We had a great round on the New Course. The wind was strong which added extra challenge.
We had frequent rain in this area this week but the greens and fairways were very good and the second cut wasn’t too coarse so finding balls just off the fairway was easy.
Spacing was good and didn’t feel pushed. We finished the round in 4:15.
Checking in at the entrance and Pro Shop was well organized and efficient during these Covid times. The staff were welcoming.
Good Price, Tuesday’s are Ladies Night
The course was nice overall considering frost 2 weeks ago. The greens weren’t the greatest but for $22 twilight round you can’t really go wrong. I’d golf here again.
It would of been a nice disclaimer that Tuesday’s is ladies nights. The pace of play was definitely running slower than usual as the course was overloaded.
Overall I’d come back again on a different night

normally temporary green this time of year but thankfully not this year and I couldn't find any wet fairway ground

Course review
Course is great itself. Only thing I didn’t like was no Marshall was seen during play to help pace of play. Also too many tee times stacked close to get bunching and long wait times. Teed off 20 mins after tee time was booked.

The 20 minute delay was due to the frost delay, which is an unfortunate reality at this time of the year - with the overnight temperatures being very inconsistent.

Storm
It was a spectacular day until the 17 hole. It was getting dark but only 4 pm when the storm hit. It was a lightning and thunder show. It rained so hard everything was flooded I’m minutes. After about 20 minutes, there was a break and I beelined it to the clubhouse. Other than that, it was a fun day.
