Hidden Lakes old Course
Tee off time was on par. weather for August was average Warm and humid, a few showers
Overall pace of play was good.
Course was in great shape.
Staff was great and supportive
The only thing was the gas cart had mechanical lurching issues,
When I brought it up in the pro shop after the round I was given a voucher for a free cart next time.
I recommend this course for a fun challenging round.
great round at hidden lake
broke 100 - a little off balance to start - as threesome I was to play with - they apparently skipped!! Starter was clear on rules that I couldn't push myself out of my timeslot to ask groups ahead to play thru - so was good to set expectations - it was busy for a sunday - eventually a twosome snuck up behind me and we joined as a threesome to finish the round - for me in 4hrs (for the twosome a bit quicker).
Good value
I played the Old course today. Fun to play and a fair challenge for all levels of golfers. Would play here again.
Challenging but fair, Great Condition
The old course was in great shape. Loved the layout. Plenty of space and few lost balls, but each hole presented an interesting challenge. Greens, tees, and fairways were all in incredible shape. Excellent signage made navigating the winding route very easy.
Compared to other courses in the area you won't get any amazing vistas or views of the escarpment, but, since it is tucked away it is much quieter and was far less windy.
I will definitely be back.
Average course
Greens were in good shape. Course is not worth over $100 but that's COVID golf for you. Worst finishing hole I've played. Parking lot can come into play on number 17 and 18. Looking at the golfers playing the course, I'm sure they must get 5-10 cars getting pegged each day
