A little slow
I golf here frequently on weekends and the Rangers are usually out and about every day keeping the course moving. We helped to have a threesome in front of us playing off the blue tees. It was way out of their ability so it resulted in delays as they lost balls and had to hit additional strokes to reach their target. The annoying thing was one of them was a course employee and he should have known better.
Greens
Although greens were soft eoungh to accept approach sgotf&
More space than you would think
Given Millcroft is built within/around a housing sub-division it has more space than you would think. Some enjoyable holes, a couple of average, but overall worth a visit.
Millcroft GC Review
We found a good deal on GolfNow for $50 at 2:20pm so we jumped on it. This course is cut between houses so errant tee shots can be a challenge. I didn't play particularly well on this day but enjoyed the round. The course is well kept and a good challenge for all levels of golfer. Some long and short holes with a couple of tougher ones on the back (14 and 15). A fair and fun test. I would recommend.
Greens and tee boxes need work
Greens good looking but are very plush and grass is too long, so wedges bounce off the greens and you have to charge the hole to get it there and ignore the break. Greens need to be cut shorter. Tee boxes are not flat and impossible to find a flat spot on.
Pace of Play on weekends is horrible
Enjoyable experience
Playing at Millcroft is a great stroll through a beautiful neighborhood.
The fairways are wide enough and approach shots to the greens are surrounded by large bunkers.
The greens are consistent and slow enough to avoid three-pitts.
Hope to be back soon
