Golfer Reviews
Cart Path Only
Beautiful course as always. Marshall at every hole to keep things moving. However, with the cart path only rule, it really slows the game down. It was a beautiful day, sun shinning. No reason for Cart Path only rule. Had to keep the cart on the path, walk out to the ball, laser the hole yardage, walk back to the cart, select the club and walk back out to the ball. This really slows down the game for the serious golfer. Meanwhile Marshalls are pushing you on every hole to go faster.
Played the round in 3.5 hrs with 4 people. Marshall had nothing to complain about.
Will not take my clients here again, when cart path rule is in effect.
Good course, worth the time to play
Nice staff, very acommadating. Greens were slow...need to be cut....fairways in decent shape for April...challenging layout.
different
The course was very well designed under the circumstances of its location. The conditions were also very nice for this time of year. Challenging for all levels but still fun to play. A little nerve racking with the houses so close to the fairways.
Course rating
The course was in very good shape given we played April12th and the area had experienced a fair bit of rain over the previous week,
Greens were in pretty good condition.
Courteous, professional staff.
course was great for Novemebr
First time playing and will definitely be back.
the course is nicely laid out amongst the many homes in the area. so be sure to leave your slice at home or You will be buying some new windows for the many homes that line the fairways.
had a very good day and pace of play was VERY good,
this is the kind of course that looks to be very well manicured during the summer months. the course will leave you wanting to come back, and not beat up.
millcroft
Overall the course was in great shape, but it had rained the night before, so a lot of the bunkers had standing water in them. The staff were friendly and helpful. It would be difficult to pay the normal cost of a round, but there are usually coupons or discounts available.
PLAYING MILLCROFT
An excellent shorter course (5700) but very well kept. Greens are expansive, fast and tricky.A good selection of different holes that will test your ability. A127 slope rating from the blues and fairly expansive fairways, make this a fairly easy course for scoring for 1-15 hdcp..
I Love Millcroft
Great course, great food, great location! Love playing here, pace is always good and the course is kept in great shape.
Another awesome day at Millcroft
Absolutely stunning shape...greens rolled true and played in under 3 hours at 1:30pm on a Wednesday!!! How much better can it get?
Nice course
Good course, a little bit short but has very well maintained green and fairways
Why can't we play through?
If you're in a twosome in a cart and you're waiting on every hole for the foursome that is walking in front of you- shouldn't they let you play through?
And if they don't offer and you ask, shouldn't they let you play through?
And if they so "no" and you ask the guy driving around in the cart called "marshall" shouldn't he tell them to let you play through?
And if he does not assist?
Find a different golf course!
Looks like they give preferential treatment to their members here.
Very benign course built within a subdivision.
Be prepared for a slow round and lack of golf protocols.
Good Price
Got a good deal $40 course in nice shape compared to others in the area and not overpriced like Hidden Lake ,Lowville,Dragon Fire
Great experience
Pros:
Friendly staff
Cool layout of the course
Fairways, greens and bunkers are well kept
Challenging yet forgiving fairways
Cons:
Gasoline golf carts
Some tee boxes are convexly shaped which impedes a proper stance
