Golfer Reviews
Very Nice
Coarse was in great shape with quick greens ,no slow ups on the coarse , has its challenging holes but a great place for average or above golfers
Well maintained course
Well kept course and friendly staff. Every time I've played here it has been a great experience.
Try it if you haven't.
Convenient to Burlington and surrounding area.
This course is in excellent condition. Greens are large but can be tricky to read. The course is fairly short with generous fairways but there are plenty of bunkers to catch your ball. There's just enough water and other hazards to keep it interesting.
Unpleasant golfing
My team with 4 players started the game on Sun. Jun. 28th at 3:36 PM. It had been raining since Sat. afternoon and it was on an off during the play. We anticipated no more rain and enjoying the game when we approached the 1st hall. But from the beginning, it was raining again, the field was not playable and remained all in wet condition. All bunkers were under water as well.
Anyway, we decided to leave after 9 halls since we felt we couldn't enjoy the play due to wet condition and rain (on and off).
I stopped by the pro shop and asked for a rain-check or credit for playing back 9 halls next time. The employees in the shop couldn't decide and told me to contact the manager next day.
I called up the manager next day and asked for a rain-check. But the manager refused to issue it simply because we were the only team, who complained and requested the rain check. Maybe the other golfers love playing a golf better than I do. And he added the comment the field was playable. Of course, you could play but it was not a golf in such bad conditions. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of field, green, or bunkers.
There were a couple of other golf courses nearby to whom I called and asked the field condition prior to the game, and none said it was playable. They closed the courses.
The reason I'm not pleased with the management of this course is simply they are open and let golfers play when the condition is not playable. You can say it's the management discretion but, in my opinion, at least they should consider players and do their best to make golfers enjoy rounding.
Thank you.
Twilight happiness
This is a great course if you are close and want to get in an evening. Course is sufficiently hard. Don't play if you dislike courses that are part of a subdivision and cut in and around houses.
Nice father's day
The thing I like most about this course is that it allows both the scratch golfer and high handicappers to shoot a good score as long as they can avoid people's back yards off the tee. Cart girl was not friendly.
Course was in great condition
The course was in great condition. Greens were a little slow but overall great experience. I plan on playing there very soon.
Good Course
Good course. It was in good shape. The staff were friendly and helpful. The water comes into play on several holes. Bring extra balls. Fun to play. .
Hot Deal Gem
Booked 18 holes w/ a Cart on Golf Now for $11.99.
This course is a bit of a hidden gem in Burlington, ON. It is nestled within a subdivision, with many houses lining around the fairways. For the accurate player, the course plays slightly short, requiring accuracy and placement off the tee, and plenty of bunker. The sand is well kept and the greens rolled true.
Course & Greens are in Great Shape
This course is in great shape - fairways, greens & bunkers. Some tees are a little worn however you can see where they're working to improve them. Greens are particularly good, rolling true at a good speed, and are very receptive. Balls marks are tough to find. Plenty of variety of holes, strong par 3's & 5's. You'll use every club in you bag. Will provide a nice enjoyable round. Be mindful of the bunkers, some of which are the largest you'll see anywhere.
Good Course
Course was in very good condition other than the greens were hard due to lack of rain or watering this early in the season. Facility was very good and the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Great Round, Slightly High Green Fee
The course is in perfect condition and well laid out. Facility is clean and staff are friendly. Although I had a great round at a discount rate through Golf Now I feel the regular green fee is too high.
Some work, some confidence boosting
This course has a variety of holes. Some are easy and build your confidence and some are difficult and make you work for scores. It's a good balance. Course was in decent shape but the bunkers need work - lots of stones.
millcroft rocks
second time out and this course is a gem, food service condition.....all good, will return
well protected greens
dont let the length fool you...par 5's are reachable but bring all your wedges!
Average
Very expensive for a short course. Only play it on spring and fall rates or Golf Now hot deals. Plays in 4 hours usually which Is nice.
