About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Always a great course
Fast moving, interesting course, scenic, good value for your money
Layout has changed, homeowners have ruined it for everyone
This was a very nice city course years ago and even today for some reason it’s still profitable. The City of Burlington has done a mis-justice by letting homeowners backing onto the course dictate the NIMBY. Tyandaga was one of the last great golf courses and green space and as of now it’s crap. The City has cut cut back so much this has become the legacy they leave behind, congratulations on a job horribly done! Burlington was once one of the best cities to live and now……ughhh! What an embarrassment!! Never play there again, thanks for the memories.

short and sweet
a shorter course but challenging to play .hidden greens .blind shots galore .mind bogiling for some one like me who has never played it before .enjoyed a hilly course with lots of elevation changes .

Terrible paths and awful fairways! I am insulted as a Bulrlington tax payer that subsidizes this course. It is an embarrassment!

Really good course
Can be somewhat challenging because of the hilly conditions in places but still lots of fun.
Back nine plays like an executive course
Holes 14 & 18 have been converted to par 3’s since the last time I’ve played here.
13 &15 are already par 3
I’m sure 18 is somewhat temporary but 14 looks like it’s been that was for a while. It’s a municipal course so you get what you get but was a little disappointed.
Review
A lot of blind spots on majority of the holes with only one of them having a bell to let the group behind you know they’re in the clear to shoot. If you’re playing in front of a group, don’t be surprised if you get a close call shot at you - it’s not their fault, they can’t see you.

COARSE CHANGES
THEY DID IT AGAIN
They took a par 4 400yd plus hole 18 and shortened to a par 3 120
They did this previously on a par 5
this is because house complaints
the course was there before the houses
this has totally ruined a nice public coarse
will never play there again

Noisy music from some bad manner golfers and no control by Marshall.

was much better before
The back 9 has been destroyed. First hole 14 was turned from a long Par 4 to a par 3 and now a great finishing hole, 18, has been destroyed turning it into a Par 3. Four Par 3's on the back, terrible.
You caved into your neighbors who bought a house knowing it backed onto a golf course!
