About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Tyandaga
Over the course is good. Some interesting holes and the greens were in pretty good shape, however the tee boxes and fairways could definitely use some TLC.
Great Course
Course is great! Nice green. The pace too slow. Need to wait at least 10 mins to tee off for the next hole.
Respectfully will not return
Greens in excellent condition. Tee box grass is too long and footing is uneven.. Very hard to find a spot on the tee box that is flat. You’re either standing above your ball or below. Previous reviews detailing that if a ball is not in the fairway, it’s hard to locate is extremely accurate. Due to the extreme heat, the ground is rock hard causing bounces into the rough even when you’re landing on the fairway. This caused delays in play with trying to locate. Marshals and staff are friendly! Respectfully will not be returning as paying an extra $10 will put you in a completely different class of course. Good for first/second year golfers.

Course could use some work...
This was my second time golfing here... first time was in poor weather conditions so thought we’d try it out again...
30+ degrees outside, no cart person for drinks even once, the group ahead of us was 4 elderly gentlemen walking, so we waited on every hole for the front 9 and had a group waiting on us... no Marshall passed us or checked on us at all. The bugs were awful, the greens were in poor shape, cart wasn’t properly cleaned before we got it (had old garbage, tissues and used mask in it still). Overall I guess you get what you pay for... but probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Slow play poor service
Complained twice about slow play. Marshall cam out and did not do anything to improve the situation. Asked for a 9 hole rain check and was told that it is not their policy. We will not return and will tell all of our contacts.

Tyandaga
Second time playing here and I find it to be a good course if you can get the round at a discount price. Tee blocks were pretty banged up with lots of dead grass and patches missing. The rough is also extremely long and needs to be cut to a shorter length. If your ball goes off the fairway it can sometimes be a struggle trying to locate it, sometimes we weren’t able to. Course was challenging and pace of play was great! We finished 18 in less than 3.5hrs.
Overall, we had a good time playing here, a little disappointed at the course conditions but would play again if there was a discounted rate.

It has been a long time since I played here. Played weekly in the seventies. The course has been shortened up quite a bit since then. Fairways are relatively narrow so bring your best game. A good challenge for all levels of golfers.
Food selection was good and it was very good. Staff very friendly as were volunteers.
Junior pricing under seventeen could be improved for a city owned course.
