About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Rainy Day Sunday
Played 18 in the rain on Sunday. Course drainage is quite good so not to much trouble with standing water, mud etc. Greens speed was a huge challnege to read. Dropped a few stars as they closed the restaurant and snack bars due to weather so NO food drinks or snacks anywhere on the property. But HUGE star add for the course marshall who let us bail out at the turn, make a run to Tim Hortons and come back to finish the back 9 and kept an eye on all our stuff and our cart while we went. Saved our round !!
Decent day of golf
Course conditions were pretty good, probably because of a lot of rain recently! Greens were fast and lots of movement! Good day at all around.

3 star course
Ok course with too many blind shots. Course conditions were ok for a municipal course
The greens were much too slow to the point that it was difficult getting the ball to the hole.

Great course
I have played here about 7 years ago and I must say this course is a must for all levels of players. Some very challenging holes and some straight forward ones. The greens are challenging due to the undulating. I will be back with my friends this round I played with my wife

Awful staff
Course is enjoyable and we'll maintained. However the staff is absolutely tragic, rude, sour moods all around. We had our bags and coolers searched for alcohol right at the start of the day, we only had water as it was 35 degrees out. The lady searching our bags/cooler didn't follow covid precautions no mask, no gloves when going through our things. She almost forced her way into our stuff. I will not be playing here again, and do not recommend it too anyone. The staff ruined it for me. Disappointed.
