About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Arcis you have to do bettet
Played here a bunch and this course is a good course. The t boxes were rock hard and some of the greens were infested with some sort of crab grass. The fairways were the best they have been in a while. I will be back but if you are going to charge full pop you have to do better with course conditions.

Decent play
The greens were in bad shape, they had recently been airrated. Wish I had know, I would not have spent $100 to play there. I don’t like surprises when I am paying that much. Expected a discount when course in that shape.

My buddy and I play TC often it's our #1 course. Probably 50+ rounds the past 2 years. We love it. We typically reserve thru golfnow so this is not a complaint towards Twins but it would be nice if Golfnow would warn us about punched greens before completing the reservation. Last week when we played we were so excited since we hadn't played in 2 to 3 weeks due to the rains but once we got to the 1st green we were very dejected. We love Twins and will play it again and again. Great staff and course. Just a little disappointed last week. We'll get over it tomorrow

Expected a Lot More for the Price
Twin Creeks has always had a friendly and helpful staff. They need to have Marshall’s on the course (at least one for front and one for back nine) policing the pace of play. It was just ridiculously slow and that’s just not acceptable. They yes, aerated the greens recently and they are rebuilding a few of the sand traps on several holes. I applaud both of these as the greens will be nice and another 2 to 3 weeks. But for the fees we pay for that slow pace of play, I would expect a lot more. Nobody in my foursome wants to return anytime soon, which is a shame as it is always been one of my favorite courses because I love the layout. Too bad.

Just punched the greens
Overall the course is a fun track. They had just punched the green the past week so I would have been bummed if I paid full price for the round. Really fun design and overall pretty good shape considering all the rain. Tough to rationalize $90 per 18 but really enjoy the track.

This course was great for the money
The greens had just been aerated but were still extremely playable. The layout of the course was good especially being surrounding by some of the nicer homes in Allen. The pace of play was okay, there were several groups in front that took a long time and would allow you to play through. However, I will be coming back to this course as it was in really good condition and overall had a good time.

Challenging but fair
I like courses where you go on a journey. This course is very varied and great fun to play. It is challenging, but fair at the same time. Highly recommendable!

Stacked teams 9 min on sold out T times. It was a 5:45 minute round.... They need to spread out a little more.

Not again, for a while
I last played here in the early 2000's. Beautful track. Since that time, however, the course has gone way down. Not the kind of course that is worth the $100 fee. Yes, It is a good track, but just not in the best of shape for the money. In all fairness, though, with the extreme heat and drought, in the summers and the extreme freezes, in the winters, there is a bit of a challenge in keeping a course in tip top shape. I just think it is over priced for what you get.

C'mon
With all the problems the course had last year losing its greens and all the effort they put in, it's easy to pull for this place. But, it's not a great experience.
Printing out names on golf carts and having a decent snack bar isn't enough. It was a beautiful 84-88 degree day on the course and we saw the cart girl in the parking lot, on the driving range, and coming off hole 9. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Hole 18 had over 100 range balls in it - thanks for that. The greens were an unmitigated disaster - just terrible.
Guys, it's nice you're now printing out names on golf carts... I feel so special. But, if you can't get the greens in decent shape, could you at least do the little things that will keep people coming back? How hard is to to have the cart girl do her job? How hard is it to police the 18th fairway twice per day and pick up golf balls?
