About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

I've played here a bunch and it's never in my life been worth what you guys are charging. I thought you guys just redid the greens and they almost seemed worse then the last time I played. No way you should be charging 100 dollars. 50 max in my opinion

Good shape fun course
Overall course is in pretty good shape, fairways are doing really well. Greens could be better but they didn’t pose much of an issue. Maybe a little pricey overall but a solid place

COULD be a great course.
But for the greens....horrible greens. And pace of play was no Bueno....no ranger pushing slow groups. Everything else is in pretty good shape. Fix the greens, dead patches on fairway edges, and pace and I'll pay your rates. Rates 50% too high for the current course conditions.

Pace of play
5 1/2 hour round on a Sunday, greens were glass on the front 9. Only medium and large size buckets offered to use on the range. Short game and putting area. Might give the course another go this summer.

Losing greens again
After having the greens redone last year, it hasn’t taken long for them to be bumpy with poana all
Throughout. Still are fast but can’t get good roll without bumping off line. Too bad!

Twin Creeks
Fun course; early tee times get done quickly and just when you think the back 9 is easy, you get to play 16, 17 and 18!

Good Course
Course was in good shape and primed to be nice later this spring/summer. Renovations to restaurant and more coming soon and so it should get even better. Looking forward to playing again soon.

Not worth the money
I just moved to Texas from California and I have been impressed by the courses out here. Buffalo Creek, water view, country view, brickyard, all small time gems at a great price. Twin Creeks is Way over priced for what you get. The club house is extremely nice but once you get on the course it's a different story.
It looks like they dug up the whole course. The greens are new and not matured, the fairways are straight dirt. I mean this was a goat track, I thought I was play on chino hills again. For $85 per person, I definitely won't be coming back. There are far too many good courses at there for half the price. I am not impressed at all

Poor staff communication
When my partner checked in, he was informed there was a 50 min frost delay, when I checked in I was given a different estimate , which was no big deal, they told us we can wait at restaurant/ bar and they would call us, which they never did, after waiting about an hour we decided to get a cart and ask the Marshall what our start time looked like, he stated they were looking for us, which we were a few feet away from the checkin desk and they never called us.

Winter Struggle
Greens were dry and unforgiving. Very little live grass probably 90% dormant so it’s putting on glass. Already saw some frost/dead spots I. Middle of a few fairways. No Marshall to maintain groups or pace. There was a beverage/food cart but only saw it once.
Pro shop staff seemed stressed and bothered when checking in.
Would come back but only on a HOT DEAL where I don’t have to pay full price. Not a great course for winter golf

Much improved - back to its old form!
Twin Creeks has really improved their conditions. Their greens were hit with some sort of fungus over the summer, but they’ve got them back in great condition!
