About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Getting Better
The course was in better shape than the rumors going around. You can tell the course is working very hard to get the course back in good shape. The greens were solid, a couple felt very squishy and felt like they moved below my feet so you could tell it was newer grass. A few greens had st augusting or weeds growing in on them making it difficult to putt. Boxes were very rough but when you tee up the majority of the time its not an issue. Sand was light and fluffy and rough was thick and penal on some holes. Still don't think this course is worth the $80 price tag without range included. However it was a decent day to play and a decent round. Pace got very poor on the back and no marshal to push pace was to be seen.

Good track with true greens rolling
This is a good little track and the pace of play is excellent. The greens are rolling pure and the layout is very forgiving, but also challenging at times.

Great round
Wasn’t quite as hot so that was a major plus. 😀
Down to 4 temp greens and the rest of the course is in great shape. A little slow on the front nine due to the group in front of us but the Marshall asked them to speed up and then on 11 since we were still waiting held them up so we could play through. This let us finish the round in just over 4 hours since there was now no one in front of us until we got to 17

Not For Me
The course was VERY upfront on course conditions prior to the round and 7 temporary greens. Pace of play was decent. Quite a few tee boxes were pretty beat up. Tall weeds that hadn’t been mowed in quite some time just off fairways on a few holes was frustrating on decent drives. They say winter was hard, but the course wasn’t great last year either. Probably won’t go back unless they drastically turn things around. Too many great options in the area.

SLOW Play, Poor Greens
I was asked if I knew about the course conditions when I checked in and I said I did not. The course had 7 temporary greens and if I had known that I would not have booked this course. A twosome joined us and they did not see the greens issue when they booked on GolfNow. They said the round was discounted from $80+ to $50+ but the other courses I compared it to did not have excessive temp greens and 7 temp greens is too many. The pace of play was so slow that we only played 9. It just wasnt pace of play but also poor play with lack of etiquette with poor golfers waiting on every shot instead of hitting and moving along. Very poor on a hot day.
I do appreciate the fact that you responded to the comment and I also appreciate that the course does have marshals who tried their best to improve pace of play but its the luck of the draw if you get behind very poor golfers. The booking tool makes no mention of the temp greens so that should be updated

A lot to f Greens under repair
Would have liked to play actual course, about half the greens were temporary, no target date given for when course scheduled to be fully ready

Rough shape rn but still fun!
Obviously difficult to give a good review right now because of the temporary greens but still a great time. If you know what you are getting yourself into it’s worth it. But maybe just wait a month because the course would be great at full length.

Utter garbage
Seriously, this course is worse than anything I have ever played. They should completely start over. I feel bad for the workers and the people who live in the neighborhood. Especially the multi million dollar homes. Their view is now a mediocre muni. Don’t waste your time or money. Never again
