Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Sanded Greens
All GN courses should have an up to date conditions rating. 10 greens were complete sand, the others were 50/50 at best Even the club house staff failed to mention it at check in. Full price for sand. Disappointed.

Should notify for Sanded Greens
Paid $90 to play a Saturday morning round with the greens covered in sand. They should notify you of that before booking. Way over priced for the conditions.

Courses of fun course to play staff is really friendly
I play this course a lot But every time
i play it the greens are constantly covered in sand everyday it is not worth the money to play on sand greens It tears up your putter.

Very disappointed
Usually a good course but might be the worst greens I’ve ever seen any course have in the dfw area. Greens were essentially sand and felt like concrete. Don’t waste your money till greens are back in decent shape

Have to fix the greens
There was a time that playing this course was fun. However, until they commit to fixing the greens it makes for a less than desirable experience.

Need to adjust green fees for those conditions.
$90+ for sandy painted greens and bald fairways is ridiculous. Save your money and irons.

Terrible shape
Course in bad shape right now. Normally good course but fairways like concrete and greens are just silica sand.

Good Course, with a caveat
The course is in good shape. Greens were a little damaged, but it was still a good round. Only caveat is we had the Marshal come up to us on hole 10, telling us that we are 24 minutes behind pace. The kicker was, we had to wait on all previous 9 holes for the group ahead of us. When we made the turn, we went to the concession window and ordered a beer and hot dog. Marshal said we are not supposed to get food at the turn and we caused the entire day to slow down. This was absurd to NOT get a dog and beer at the turn and by the time we played 11 (actually the 2nd hole as they started the rounds on 10), we caught the group in front of us and had to wait the rest of the round again. Again, first world problems, but why would your club not want to make F&B money from golfers? Why did the Marshal never push the group in front of us? Even with that, we stayed and had a couple of beers after the round. Outside of the comments from the Marshal, good round and nice course.

Terrible conditions
This course is in terrible condition for the price. Even with the HOT deal it wasn’t worth the value. The greens had so much over dressing on them, that there was hardly any thing but sand and seed. I’ve played here several times, and was embarrassed for them. The bathroom could use some help also. The stall had “stuff” on the walls and probably hadn’t been cleaned in months or even years.

I like the course but maintenance is not noticed.
To me this course is comfortable and not a single hole with ridiculous layout. But management seems not care the course. Restrooms paper towels hanger was empty in both restrooms. Just toilet. One at the course always dark without the light for years. I've seen other review with the same complaint years ago..
