Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Good Value
Played this course a bunch over the last 15 years. It's had its ups and downs...but definitely on the ups right now! Fun layout, good greens and fairways. Bunkers have been under repair (should be done now). If they get the bunkers right, this will be a solid top 10 option on the east side of the metro plex. Especially if your living or staying north of Dallas. It can get crowded during the usual busy times. Nice staff.
Terrible
The person in charge of the carts is terrible would let you have a cart until right before your round so you couldn't go practice unless you walked out and back. At the turn couldn't any food the didn't have anything ready no hot dogs burgers. I won't be back.
Great Value
Always book when they have a deal at Twin Creeks. Great layout with some challenging greens.
Very good muni track
Twin Creeks is a Palmer-designed mini with a few quirky holes, but overall playable by most level golfers. Bunkers were are being redone along with the surrounding sod. New sand being put in looked good compared to many area courses which are closer to dirt than sand!
Fine Neighbohood Course
TWin Creeks has an excellent layout, designed by Arnold Palmer I beleive. Buners were under renovation when we played, which was not disclosed when I booked the tee time. Price was a little high for nthis level course given those conditions.
Great condition
Greens are in very good condition
Fairways are in good shape, rough has many bare patches.
This course os famous for slow pace of play but if you get out early you’ll have a good pace
Not worth the money
A lot of other courses in the area for less and in better shape
Tournament on a Saturday Morning???
With Saturday being the busiest day for most every golf course, why would a golf course manager book a tournament for first thing Saturday morning? I was shocked to find out that when I showed up for my 11 AM tee time that there were no golf carts and at least an hour wait. The golf course was playable, but the rough hadn’t been mowed in a while and it was very long. Balls hit in the rough were impossible to find and slowed down play considerably. Not worth the money we paid and will be taking our golf elsewhere until these things are rectified.
Good course
Bunkers are GUR but rest of course is excellent.Greens a bit slow though.
Very poor conditions
The course is doing upgrades. So, no traps and the golf carts barely run. I recommend only visiting Twin Creeks on a really good deal. Otherwise, I recommend waiting until all the improvements are complete.
Overpriced and slow
They ran out of carts
3 twosomes ahead of us that slowed the entire course
A 12some was allowed to play further in front of us
No marshal to speed up pace of play
$80 to play a 5+ hour round we started late because we had to wait on a cart, likely won’t be back unless they get their act together.
New Look is Coming Along1
Love the improvements New carts were impressive. Greens not bad after bing punched a couple of weeks back.
unacceptable again
Early Sunday morning tee time. Group ahead was wearing no shoes and parked cart on or very near most greens. Would not let us play through despite 2 open holes ahead. Never a Marshall. Never again
Fun Round
I enjoyed playing this course. It's a nice mix of challenging vs attackable holes. The last 3 holes are a great finish, although I think they have permanently switched the nines, so 7, 8 and 9 are the tough stretch now.
Course was in good shape. There were so cracks in the fairway but with this drought that is understandable. Bunkers are u der xontruction which was fine as we took free drops from them. Greens were smooth.
Teed off at 7:20 and got around in 4 hours. The you lady working in the pro shop was friendly and got is checked in quickly.
My only complaint would be the green fee is a little on the high end compared to other comparabl3 courses but it's still worth coming out to play Twin Creeks.
