Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Poor Conditions

The greens were extremely fuzzy and not well taken care of. Not one putt rolled true, extremely bumpy. The tee boxes were not in good shape. The fringes were also torn to shreds. I’m sure they will pick up the quality of the course as next golf season rolls around, however I will be staying away from this course throughout the winter.

Let's do it again!!!

Would love to play this course in better weather, but really enjoyed my round. Pricey, but looking at the homes along the front 9...I see why! Range balls are an additional charge. Greens and fairways weren't bad considering the time of year. If I ever visit Plano again...I'd consider playing here again!

ORNERY GOLF ATTENDANT!

Everything was good until my son and I ran into an ornery golf cart attendant. Long story short after playing the course my son was returning cart and attendant yelled at him and told him he was too young to be driving cart. My son told him he was of age and had his license. Attendant said “I don’t care “ at this point my son came into clubhouse and told me what was said to him, so I approached the attendant and before I got a word out he tells me I thought he was younger than he looks I told him that’s not the problem here! The problem was your approach and tone of voice to a kid. He proceeded to tell me F#?k me. I had to set an example for my son at this point . Old man wasn’t worth the time. He had hate in heart.. read between the line fellow golfers and spend your money elsewhere. Love YHWH

Great Course for the money!

Never get tired of playing this course. Always a challenge no matter what tee box you’re hitting from. Great tee boxes and fairways with excellent greens. Bunkers are being upgraded with new sod around the edges.

Low quality for the price

Slow and bumpy green. Hard pan ground around the greens. Price is high for the quality of the course. I liked the quality of the sand bunkers.

Wonderful course

Twin Creek is an Arnold Palmer designed course. It is well maintained and in great condition. The course design combines American country club and English links style to one course. Wonderful views and experience!

Greens roll true, fairways are fairly nice but tee boxes and other areas could use some work. More of a $50-$60 course than a $80-$90 course

Twin creeks

Played here yesterday at noon and waited for every shot, which is a bit frustrating. About a 4 1/2 hour round. I think if they had a starter at the course the players would be a little bit more spread out and the pace may have been better. It’s a fun course but I would not play here on the weekends or pay the full green fees. I was able to get a tee time from the teeoff app, and had a $10 coupon which made it $25 with a cart. I wouldn’t pay more then this for this course.

Bad experience

Pace of play was bad. Tee time started at 11:06. Didn’t tee off until 11:15. Took almost 5 hours to complete 18 holes due to waiting for the groups in front. Also, golf carts weren’t working correctly. Had switch out. Also at the turn we went to grab snacks at the grille and no one was there. For the cost of the round I was expecting a lot more.

Good Value

Played this course a bunch over the last 15 years. It's had its ups and downs...but definitely on the ups right now! Fun layout, good greens and fairways. Bunkers have been under repair (should be done now). If they get the bunkers right, this will be a solid top 10 option on the east side of the metro plex. Especially if your living or staying north of Dallas. It can get crowded during the usual busy times. Nice staff.

Terrible

The person in charge of the carts is terrible would let you have a cart until right before your round so you couldn't go practice unless you walked out and back. At the turn couldn't any food the didn't have anything ready no hot dogs burgers. I won't be back.
