About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Great Pace. Decent condition
Some work being done on greens. Some crab grass in the rough made it difficult to find balls. Otherwise, good condition. Decent pace of play. Got in 18 on a 515 tee time. Fun layout and challenging last few holes to finish up.
Needs work
This course was highly recommended, but it didn't come close to the recommendation or reviews. The design may be nice, but there was little way to play to it. There are bare patches throughout the course. Greens need considerable attention & several tee boxes were covered with weeds. My playing partners & I all but needed a power drill to get a peg in the ground on most of the tees.
The pace was slow & not managed at all. Twice on the second nine there were four groups waiting for the tee.
The best thing this course has going is an inexpensive rate.
Good course
Play this course a lot and the conditions were pretty good - two complaints. First is we had several greens which had sand on them which required us to move the ball in order to putt. The second issue is we never saw a Marshal on the course and we actually combined with the group ahead of us (making a group of 8) for the last 3 holes because the group in front of them was extremely slow
Very nice
No complaints, the course is in great condition. The staff was very very hospitable.
Sand traps
There were repairs being done on the greens which made it look like sand traps on the greens. That was a bit of a challenge but very green course. I loved playing here.
Holiday Weekend. Decent Shape
Full course. Pace wasn’t too bad. Only a couple greens had some winter damage. Nice range and practice area. Love playing here.
Twin Creeks
Always a good time here, course is typically in good condition. It is a great value and have always have fun playing this course.
Poor Maintenance, but $$$
Course is in poor conditions, Greens are full of sand with little stones so get ready to putt with little pebble stones. Some greens have dirt on it and poor maintenance,. Fairway conditions are not good for the price you pay... bunkers are not soft , golf cart will turned off from time to time.
