Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Back to business
The was the first time back since fixing the bridge at 8 and being able to start one #1. Course was in decent shape and still filling in from the winter. This is a spot golf course so picking your spot helps you score well, and you don’t need to hit bombs off the tee. There are a few holes with some sneaky rough that looks playable from the tee but hard to find once you pull up on #3,#10 and #15. The final 3 holes are a fun stretch with water in play on all 3 that can make a close round interesting. Overall a fun round and will be back again soon.
The course was great, it was set up for all skill levels and the staff at the course was very helpful,
Slow and poor conditions
Course was not in good shape, many greens with bare/sand spots and play was slow. Group is n front of us deliberately hit our ball into water and then denied it.. much better value in the area than this course.
Good Course for the beginner to intermediate
Course was in descent shape from cold spell and number of play. It will get better during the growing season. Good value and one can score on this course.
Course needs work.
The fairways were horrible, the tee boxes inconsistent, bare spots everywhere. The greens were decent. Will not return unless they put some money into the upkeep of the course.
Pretty Solid
Not as bad as people are saying. Typical course conditions for the spring. Tee boxes looked great, greens looked and played awesome aside from maybe 2 that recently had some sand work but they were still good. Par 3 fairways look phenomenal, all other fairways are fair some are great some have dead spots. Once again it’s spring, courses are getting into shape for summer. Overall great course as usual, great pin placements, will be coming back for sure soon!
Need more grass on fairways & around the greens. Greens wete fast.
Good time!
Good until the end
Course was in good shape for early spring. Greens where hot or miss. Some where still very sandy which made it hard for the ball to hold on the green. Huge storm yesterday and the corse was dry and super playable. Pace was good until last 5 holes where we waited almost 10 min at each box which killed my Rhythm and killed our total time. Ended up being over a 5hour round when front 9 took one hour and 50 min.
Would recommend this course but if you need to warm up get there over an hour early before your round because the range and green is full of just people practicing not playing a round that day.
Conditions
The greens had so much sand, true putting was not capable - no one monitors the pace of play & 1 group slowed the entire course - when I was on the 18th tee, I could see 8 carts on 16
Great course
This course is very nice off of the tee box, but the greens are tricky. Can definitely go super low if you know the greens. For comparison I’m a scratch golfer and I shot 69. Liked the course a ton and would definitely recommend it for the price!
Getting better
Great new updates to the course from the new cart paths to tree trimming the new sod
