Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/Red

Had fun , no rush , large but can be walked , ( many do ) huge value , greens good , fairways bumpy , but simply play straight . Everyone friendly . Would play again ,

I had a tee time for 8:48 and there were absolutely no power carts but was assured that I would receive one on the back nine. That did not happen either as there was only one power cart available and I was in a threesome. I was then told I could take the one cart and have to pay full price for it while I only had 9 holes remaining. The gentlemen at the front desk was very rude and from time to time was arguing with another staff member infront of everyone. I will not be returning or recommending.

My buddy and I had to get out given we were watching too much PGA Tour Championship golf on TV. Banty's Roost is a good value course. They have three 9-hole courses so there is a variety of holes. The course is fairly easy with a few tight holds and forced carries. The green-side bunkers have no rakes around them and that is simply because they need them. They are rock-hard and you need to pick the ball clean out of them. Not great but I didn't expect perfect at the price we paid. Overall, a good value experience.

3rd time out this year playing Banty's I love the set up of the par 5's a good drive and wood can get you on in 2. It's just always a beauty time.

I drove from Oakville and it was worth the drive. A really nice golf experience. The course was in really good shape. The staff was far nicer than the reviews I read. As a matter of fact there were only two people there working and they were both amazing. I would rent a power cart next time is it was a long walk for these 66 year old legs.

If you are fussy and want perfection go somewhere else but if you want to gave fun on a decent golf course I recomnend you give this one a go.

It took me 4 hrs. and 45 minutes to finish the game.

Very poor layout of the course.

Course was a catastrophe from overgrown fairways and burnt greens plus it kinda sucks trying to putt when your being soaked by the sprinklers as they water the greens during your round. Too bad this place used to be decent but the place is gone way down hill 65 beans to essentially play a goat track with unmarked paths that lead you astray from your next tee box empty ball washers in truth too many issues to name here save your dough play somewhere where they mow the fairways and kind of care just a little bit.

I overheard a grounds keeper advise a couple to "take a drop if the ball goes into the bunker" , many of the green side bunkers had weeds growing in them.

The place is in need of serious make-over and should definitely not be on GOLFNOW.

I do not know my handicap but scored 86.

It was my first time using Golfnow and I was not impressed. The course was in rough shape and hard to navigate through.

Stay away, course was in terrible shape, is laid out poorly and has very little maintenance.

We were able to grab a last minute deal, and that makes the course appealing. Regular rates for the course are far too high for the shape that it is in when compared to other courses. The fairwarys were in decent shape, but the sandtraps are full of weeds, probably due to this year's excessive rain. The men's tees seem to have been pushed back quite a bit, so you can't depend on the yardage on the scorecard. I still like the course for the variety of holes, but they need to come up with some more equitable regular rates if they want to draw back players.
