Not as bad as reviews claim
Read reviews after I booked on google. Not as bad as they said. Yes the course could use a little more upkeep on the fairways maybe cut an inch shorter. but the rough is called a rough for a reason. The grass wasn’t even as hard as reviews claim. Nothing wrong with the greens. Will I go back, definitely! Keep writing bad reviews, less people there the better for me. Only issue I can say is the club needs work. Bathroom is disgusting! Paper towel no toilet paper. Needs to be better at taking care of if you’re expecting hundreds golfers to come.
Nice course improvement
I played here a few times last year, mainly because they were easy to get on to at the last second.
Course conditions were not great, but it had a nice layout.
I was pleasantly surprised when I played for the first time this year to find the course had improved a lot from last year, greens were great, slow, but in great shape compared to last year and fairways were green, despite all of the heat we received this year, again, pleasantly surprised.
Issues, they don't have a lot of golf carts, if you know this course it is a very long walk to the first tee on the blue course and some good walks between tee boxes in general, if you don't like walking you may want to avoid this place, I took the last available cart for a noon tee time, heat was just starting to come up.
Good luck to the next groups until the morning guys came off to provide more carts.
Course is a joke
Staff was very rude and angry especially course manager. Borderline harassment. Course actually looked good for the first time all year. Don’t expect to get a cart until 3 hours after your tee time.
Pin placement
Nice course. The only complaint we had was that you couldn’t tell if the pin was front, middle, or back. Flags not colour coded, and no small flag to indicate placement.
No carts.
Decent course but no carts available. One service cart for 27 holes. Tee boxes in bad shape.
A fun course!
It's long and winding so was glad to have had a golf cart. Only downside is that's it's quite a drive out of Toronto.
Will Not Be Returning
Golf carts are apparently available only on a first come, first serve basis, because there aren’t enough golf carts available. A 9:20am tee off time did not have available carts, and the wait time was “depending on the golfers”. I waited for half an hour after my original tee off time, only to be told that I won’t be getting a golf cart any time soon. This needs to be made clear upon booking.
Dirty Carts
Course was very dry and hard to tee up the ball. Carts had empty drink containers, sticky and dirty.
Good value when Teeoff reservation system works
This.can be a very good deal however for this.particular course Teeoff reservation system always return a Billing Error
Just terrible
Fairways and tee boxes may as well have been concrete. No food after 9 due to absent kitchen staff. Terrible customer service when we asked not to play the back 9 no compensation whatsoever.
Terrible
Course not maintained at all. Grass was not watered all year. No clear signs on where the next whole is. Got there at 9 for a 9:30 tee time and they ran out of golf carts.
