Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - White/Red

The course outline is great and challenged specially for the white course. little frustrated for red course since easily cross with Blue course. The fairway maintenance need to be improved for both white and red course. Some of the green also need to be improved,

40$ for a cart or 20$ a person. It’s a complete rip. For 70$ a round id rather go to a way better course. Not worth the time or money. Plus the manager or whoever the guy is at the pro shop is a complete stain and should have been flushed.

Initially thought the course cost was a good deal, but after playing we realized why. Course was in poor shape. Slow play. Other courses have cup lfters to assist you taking your ball out of the cup (due to COVID. This one does not. Greens were just plain bad - rough and lots of brown patches. Constantly having to wait for players going in the opposite direction to play their balls out of our fairway. We played this course many many years ago and thought it would improve by now. Not so.

Although this could be a challenging course, it is in very poor condition and not very well maintained.

Horrible experience no markings on course people just walking and driving carts around lost. LOOKS LIKE IT USED TO BE NICE WHEN SOMEONE GAVE A CRAP. STAFF MEMBERS OUT FOR JOY RIDES IN GOLF CARTS DRIVING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU WHILE TEEING OFF, THEN GIVE ATTITUDE WHEN YOUR YELLING AT THEM WTH ARE YOU DOING, RESPONSE IS I WORK HERE WITH A DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS STAIR. THIS HIGHLIGHTS THE PROBLEMS WITH GOLFING IN THE GTA NOT EVEN THE STAFF KNOW THE RULES OR HAVE AND MANNERS OR RESPECT BUT EXPECT TO BE TREATED WITH THEM. BUILD SOME CONDOS HERE OR BURN IT TO THE GROUND WITH THE STAFF THERE WOULD BE MORE USEFUL THEN IT IS AS A GOLF COURSE

This course has so much potential but unfortunately it's not well maintained. Needs water, especially on greens and tees. Tees have little to no grass on them and have hundreds of broken tees on them, which no way are there from just 1 days play. Most bunkers are grass. Garbage pails are always full. During the times I've played there are max maybe 3 staff working. Need I say more. Staff are friendly.

The greens have dead spots all over them, the tee boxes are terribly chunked up.

Overall good value to play. Green need to be improved bur overall good condition.

The course was in average shape but the infrastructure was in disrepair. There was little to no Covid 19 protection — no sanitizers, more than half of the holes had no foam in the cup, none of the holes on the putting green had protective foam in the cups, the carts were filthy, ball washers were available and not covered, etc. Would not recommend this course at all.

Quite possibly the worst course in southern Ontario. Absolute terribly run facility with kids running the tee time bookings so at the turn plan to wait 30-40 minutes before teeing off on 10. The greens look more like waste bunkers, and on par 3’s expect at least a couple John Deere tractors running Diesel engines In your back swing. Avoid at all costs, better to watch golf at home if you can’t find a tee time elsewhere.
