Great course for the money

Average Course and Easy to play
Enjoyed it but pace of play is ridiculously slow. Marshalls no where to be seen to remind golfers to move along. I don’t enjoy asking to play through just to be waiting behind another slow group.

Solid public course.
I enjoyed playing at Mayfield. Overall a nice track - fairways were in good shape with some exceptions and while the greens were slow, they were in very good condition.
The staff were excellent and I had an awesome grilled sandwich after the round to cool off.
I’d play there again!

Good course
Start slow and easy and back 9 are challenging. Green was dry as others and slow. Price is reasonable. Will come back again

Good value
Course was in good shape considering the lack of rain. Fairway was hard so got some extra yards on drives. Only issue we had was that we decided to walk in 42 C (with humidity) heat. Have walked the Red and White courses without issues. First time paying blue and didn't realize how hilly it is when walking as it goes up and down a small gully on many holes. Absolutely would not walk that course in those conditions.

Unfortunately, over priced
We used to fund this course a good test, in good shape and fair priced. I can understand the dry fairways considering the escalating price of everything. But I can't understand how much pricing has increased. It was $86 with a cart. There are nuch better options for that price. I won't go back at that price.
I respect your frustration with pricing increases. Everything cost much more today than it did a year ago. Gas has increased by more than 80 cents a litre, and groceries and wages have also significantly increased.
As a family business, we are very committed to keeping our course playable and affordable. Therefore, we now adjust our Green Fees hourly to provide a variety of price points for all budgets. Playing a little later in the day will decrease your green fee significantly.
We respect that every dollar counts, and we are working hard to balance the increased cost of operation with affordable green fees.
I recommend against speaking to conditions, they are aligned with other facilities. Don't worry. We use an algorithm that automatically adjusts pricing according to the following criteria:
1. Day
2. Time
3. Demand
4 Course Conditions.
We already use a very comprehensive pricing strategy.

Slightly better than Bantys Roost.
Stay away from golfing around the Brampton area. Courses are overpriced and overplayed with patrons showing no etiquette. Mayfield is as dry as a hay field charging north of $100 for 2 walking, no beverage cart, no marshals to move the masses. Was parked under a tree for 25 minutes as we waited two foursomes to clear. Very frustrating afternoon.
