Lots of trees. Put on bug spray.
There was a tournament the day of our booking. The staff had us start on the back 9. We were not interrupted and the pace of play was very good.
Great course but a tournament was on!
I played this course with 4 friends. We had carts and a good golfers. We teed off twenty minutes late because of a 90 player tournament. The round took us 3.5 hours to do 9 holes. Luckily we had the beer cart girl to talk too.
it was a good day until
If it wasnt for golfnow and a great deal, :"I paid around 45 dollars for 2 players with a cart". I wouldnt have played this course today.
Even though the greens are slow and bumpy the course is in decent shape but not worth much more then 35 with a cart per person.
We were having a good day and the weather was holding up so after we bought some food ,beers and played 18 we asked how much they would charge for a 2nd round replay for 2 players and the price they wanted was ... $126.00, thats right $126.00 more and it was after 3 oclock..lol...
I didnt know the the 2nd round replay was 3 times more then what we originally paid and twilight to boot, they better be thankful that the cart girls ease the pain of playing at this course
I will only play there for less then 30 dollars and forget the same day replay...
Good Value
If you keep your prices lower than other courses this, in itself, will certainly help to attract average golfers who are looking for a quality course at a reasonable price. We also hope that your greens will improve with better weather as we found them bumpy and in need of a cutting. We were impressed on how nice your washrooms/locker rooms are and this is very meaningful. We will be playing Beaverdale, again, soon.
Experience with Golf Now
It was quite enjoyable and I would definitely play this course again and will bring a friend the next time.
beaverdale
The course has some short par 4 setting up for birdes. recent rains have the grass a bit long resulting in loosing a ball or 2 in fairway. accurate shots are a must on some holes as hazards are fully in play.. course can be a bit slow when lots of golfers search for balls keep grass a bit shorter if possible
Good course
Nice course enjoyed the day. Small greens but easy to putt.must avoid the trees on hole #6 and water running along the right side.
Good day out
This is a good course if you are looking for a nice day out. Pace of play was great, and we got the round done in less than 4 hours (shorter course). Course was in good condition, even after the rain.
Adequate Golf Course
Course seemed fun to play. However the course was not maintained well. Leaves all over the fairways and greens. Gravel cart path which has kicked stones onto the course. Several of the holes were so close together it caused congestion and backed up pace of play.
Greens in great shape
Played on labour day 2015. Surprised at what great condition the greens were in. First t-time of the day, so the greens were still wet with dew. Enjoyed the round with some interesting challenging holes. Very walkable course. Good value for the money.
first time
interesting course, found the greens to be slow,
staff managed to get us out ahead of booked tee time.
there were several greens that were very close to one another, creating a dangerous situation when two groups were on parallel holes.
would play this course again, it was excellent value for the money.
Well kept course
Impressed with the conditions of this course. Some challenges, but also some forgiveness.......
play date 08/25/2015
cart paths need fixing, otherwise pretty good condition
Family golf day
Nice course. Took our 2 boys with us. All had a good time. Course a good medium size course for jr golfers. Easy to get a round and holes played well. Some holes close together but overall Nicely layer out with lots of trees, etc.
Nice course for beginner level
Glad to have a cart. It was hot. Back nine was not as crowded as front nine. Friendly staff and golfers.
Not to bad beaverdale
Great price, not once did we have to wait pace was great and course is in good shape.
Average course
Arrived 45 minutes for my round, and was told that because I had booked my tee off time through GolfNow.com I would have to wait until that time to start my round, even though there was no one starting at that time or for some time.
Also told I had to wait because I only had HALF a cart.
Told to complain to GolNnow, since I booked through them.
Course manager seemed to resent any bookings through GolfNow.
I like the courrse but was completely turned off by the [pro shop staff.
Course in Good Shape
Course was in good shape overall.....a couple of holes have some water issue on fairway. But over all the fairways were in good shape.
Greens were real good
Good family friendly course
Good value for easy round with wife. Some difficult narrow holes. Good course for ladies and seniors.
great course until the leaves fly
I have played here twice now and really enjoyed the course. My only complaint is that they do nothing aboit the over abundance of leaves this time of year. Its very frustrating when you get a perfect drive down the center of the fairway only to find that your ball has dissapeared under a floor of leaves never to be seen again. Would play again many times but not during fall unless they do something about the leaves. Leaf blowers aren't THAT expensive ya know...
