Dragon's Fire Golf Club

Greens are good and rolling fast. Fairways have tons of winter rot all over, back 9 fairways have more dead than alive. Bunkers are good. Tee Blocks suck, as usual, and there is no tee blocks , as usual, just a singular stake aside the tee off. Also tee stakes are no where close to where actual yardages are supposed to be….everything moved forward so shortens course by 1000 yards…that’s a innovative way to improve the notorious brutal pace of play Dragon Slayers. Grounds crew/ front line staff do an amazing job with little support from upper management P&L watchers. Washrooms are literally dogwater, need some capital investment into this place because the all round atmosphere is getting to be not far off Cam Isle. Lots of competition within 20min drive with much better deals and pricing, great course if wanna pay top dollar for spring conditions and zero amenities.

Mens washrooms are in disrepair. Major work required.

The course is always challenging, but paying too bucks for the fairways are still covered in dead grass , the greens where in good shape

I feel courses open up early should have spring prices to start off

Greens were excellent considering it was opening day and earlier start then normal. Was impressed with course layout. Extremely nice to walk a course with no homes around. Will definitely go back if prices remain.

Have played this course a number of times in the past

This is not the first time the round was five hours

Most of the fairways have hardly any good grass and the tees were in bad shape

We had at 1pm tee time and I called at 7 am and said 1 player could not make it due to illness.

I that’s 6 hrs notice and we still had the 3 players.

They charged me for the missing guy. I understand maybe in June or July, and with little notice, but in April and 6 hrs notice???

Come on guys. We need to do better. It’s golf. Sometimes life happens and we need some grace.

I love this course but things like this make it not worth it.

Even though it was April 13, the course, especially the greens, were in excellent condition.

The club appeared to running efficiently like you would expect mid season.

You can’t ask for a better place to start the season…or even finish, for that matter. My first time playing was October 2022 to finish the season…that’s when Dragon’s fire instantly became a top 5 in Ontario for me. Aside from

The natural regrowth that has to take place from enduring the winter months, it’s as of Dragon’s Fire has slipped a beat since my first round last year. To say the least, I see many more rounds at the Dragon in my future. Two thumbs up.

Wish they put out tee blocks rather than stakes even early in season.

This is excellent golf course that it closes late and opens early. Just an enjoyable place to have fun.

Enjoyed the course and conditions. Would have liked to see water in the ball washers and would like the course marshals to help speed up the slower groups. Our round was 4 hours and 50 minutes because of the foursome that was 2 groups ahead of us. When they finished they had nearly 3 holes empty in front of them.
