A moderate course
Course is maintained fairly well but direction for some holes are missing and sometimes got lost. Rough cut short making finding balls easier and can speed up play. Not a difficult course and also not very long. Pace was a bit slow but still acceptable. Power cart has a plastic sheet in between as separation so two can ride on same cart. Personally still prefer single rider.
Worst round of my life
Maintenance crew was not only unprofessional, but literally tried to provoke me with their actions. One engaged in an argument with me when he intentionally started his weed trimmer in my backswing.
Same crew ran three trimmers and two other employees worked green side, the entire time we putted out on a later green and kept going while we tied on on the tee next to it. All along, smirks on their faces.
Topping that nonsense was one of the course marshals. Drove straight at us on our tenth faiway. Went straight into a rant about how we were slow and had his course backed up 3 holes. Was loud and rude and obnoxious. We were a) playing with two seniors one being 84 years old. But b) we were not at all slow. Looked at my phone. We were at 2 hours and 15 minutes... Played 9 and were halfway through our 10th hole. Not slow by any standard.
Then!! ! Same marshal a few holes later drives straight down our fairway and goes straight another group. Starts yelling at them for being slow and same rude loud behaviour. So loud, was distracting us teeing off near bye. I proceeded to tell him what I thought of his lack of professionalism and aggression not appreciated.
Unbelievable!!!

Rained out. But clubhouse is horrendous
Rained out after finishing 3 holes. Marshall was standing next hole and told us to pick up the ball and blew the horn. Went in to no surprise a throng of people waiting for rain check.
To our surprise they were handing out rain checks prorated depending on how many holes you finished. This was a first for me especially from a course that boasts it value and customer service. With covid going on.. a room full of golfers and an employee using a calculator to determine each golfers raincheck. I told them we finished 3 holes but they deducted 5 holes without telling us because two golfers said they finished 4 holes which was impossible considering the Marshall was our alibi we only finished 3 and half our group teed off the 4th only to pick up the ball. The two golfers that finished "4 holes" got a full replay ticket. Why the special treatment? Never playing here again considering Ontario has over 800 courses.
Crazy Marshal
- when ply purting at third hole Marshal cames and said 'pick up the ball and next teebox'
- and he came every two hole and same
- We played normal speed and nobody front and back
- I asked to him we play slow.
-He said no but another teem waited back.
- but nobody at back
- I was very upset and said to him 'you go out and don't come again i'll say office'
- when play at second tee box he came again and said 'i'm sorry'
- He is very very crazy man and unhappy day.
