Conestoga Golf and Country Club - Village/Moors

For HeadQuarters of Golf North quite surprised at the turn we stopped to get food and beer before back nine and were told restaurant bar was closed but you could get it at pro shop. Turn around walk all way back to Pro shop and no food ( other than chocolate bars) only a couple brands of beer left, depleted choice then cash register froze. Spent 15 mins finally they let us put on tab so we could continue before dark!

Greens a little bumpy , aeration not smoothed over yet. Other than that great course and friendly staff

I've played this course many times. My first round of the 2019 season. It's fun, not really difficult, and overall in pretty good condition. I booked this for $43, with cart, all in - a good deal.

Marshall should Define what a cart path is if there's no cart path on a whole just cuz they think there's one there doesn't mean there is one there. Cart paths are groom and smooth not made by carts. Stop bugging people who drive the carts in the rough. Get out of your power trip mode your customer service.

Course was still super wet and the greens were airated so come prepared for spring golf. Also didn’t have my golf now reservation in the system. But that’s not a course issue.

Conestoga is a gem. The course is in great shape and always a challenge. Each hole is different in its layout and charm. Bunkers play true and are well distributed. Staff always friendly. Bring your “A” game.

We just booked last minute for Conestoga Golf Course and the rain held out till we finished. The course was great, well managed and great staff. The best deal out there, two of us folded with a cart for under $50, worth the drive to the Waterloo area.

nice conditions , tees a bit un -level , no practice range

We played the moors which was first time in at least 3 years and enjoyed much more this time- they have begun to cut down some of the really long stuff that used to be on the hills which makes it easier for a couple times a year golfer. It is a fairly difficult course for me but always enjoy it regardless- My husband plays more of often and he had some holes where he also struggled but the good ones make you keep coming back again! There was a tournament so bit slower than usual.

Course and staff were great! Will definitely come back

With the mature trees and 27 holes along the Grand River, I enjoy every round I play at this course. Greens haven't fully recovered yet but the fairways are in great shape.

AS the headquarters of Golf North, this leaves a poor example of the shape of what the other courses they they own, might be in. Couldn't tell the fairways from the rough. Clumps of cut grass in the fairway, Greens in poor shape, aerated and not rolled and slow. Bunkers not raked, tee boxes full of divots not repaired. No net for warm-up shots. Not worth the money to play here.

Cheap will only go so far, it's reached it's limit. Spend some money on maintenance.

Course was damp after thunderstorm the night before, which made it a lot longer. Played Moors to Goose Run. Thank goodness they cut the rough down from years ago, or I’d have lost a lot more balls than I did. Great course that I played awful. I’ll be back for revenge. It was a holiday weekend and only took my partner and myself only 3 1/2 hours to play.
