Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Hills/Woods
About
Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club is home two three nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Each nine is unique but they all offer scenic views of the native landscape and wildlife. The Hills and the Woods was the original 18-hole golf course at Flamborough Hills, the Lakes nine was added later. The Hills/Woods course, as its name indicates, features a rolling landscape and plenty of trees lining the fairways. The Woods nine features Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club's signature hole, the par-3 second. The hole features an elevated tee deck and a demanding carry over a water hazard to a narrow, kidney-shaped green, requiring careful club selection and strategy.

Excellent Course
Definitely have to return to include the Hills 9. Enjoyed the greens on the Lake 9 very challenging.
Happy Fathers Day!
It was awesome to spend time with my son playing this beautiful course. We will return for another game soon.
Fairways and greens in good shape, we played AM tee and the maintenance crew worked on every hole we played!
Considering the horrible spring weather the Staff made the course playable .Good Job !
Course played long with the Wet conditions and U.S. Open rough. Lousy Spring weather has made it a real challenge for maintenance crews .Congrats to the Maintenance Staff for the great job of making the course playable .
Good course
Fair value for the money greens were fertilized slow putting on most greens. Finished 18 under 4 hours fairways were in good shape .
Nice and Dry
With all the rain that we have had the course was dry the greens where great. all in all great day on the course.
Somewhat boring
Course is pretty boring, straight and narrow with lots of hills. Nothing changes from hole to hole aside from distance. No doglegs or anything.
Best course in the area.
This course is a fantastic bang for your buck, easily my favorite course right now.
Overall conditions and the clubhouse are amazing.
My only slight criticism would be the “player assistants” (Rangers?), they just drive around staring at you looking miserable. They only detract from the experience and do nothing but slow down pace of play.
Weekend play very slow
Flamborough is a great course. During the week pace seems good. Weekend golf here can be very slow and they seem to overbook or book tee times too tightly. 15 holes played in 4.5 hours then had to leave. Starter inserted a foursome of hackers in front of us on the turn so we basically had to play the same nine over. Even then it would have been a 5 or 5.5 hr round. Bring your patience and tolerance if you want to play here on the weekend.
Spring Golf
Course is in good shape and greens in great shape for spring golf. Great job.
Great outing
Our first time playing at Flamborough Hills. We were very impressed by the staff, the course, the facilities and the food. We will definitely return.
Wind ruined a great day
As always, this course provides great value for the money. We played Hills/Woods and despite the heavy wind, there was minimal fallout from trees. The greens were consistent, but on the soft side. The range was closed because a wedding was scheduled for that afternoon, but the practice green is convenient and well taken care of. The pace of play was great considering we had a novice golfer in our group and the group in front of us was having a hard time with the windy conditions. After 9 holes, it was windy enough we could barely hear eachother on the tee block, but decided to continue. After 12 holes, they called everyone off because some trees had fallen on the fairways. We were all credited for 9 holes with a cart, which was a nice gesture. The entire staff from pro-shop, Starter, Marshall and cart girls were all very pleasant. We'll be back again!
Enjoyable
Have played here several times but have not been here in a couple of years.
I always enjoy the layout and the conditions are always good.
The course was extremely busy today and I was expecting a very long day, but it moved extremely well, and we finished in just under 4 hours.
