About
Located in Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club originally opened under the name Windsor Park in 1961. Since then, another nine, the Lakes nine, has been added and the Woods nines underwent renovations to make the golf course more challenging. In total, the club offers 27 holes of golf. They are divided into three nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Woods/Lakes course features plenty of water hazards and mature trees. The Woods’ second hole is Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club’s signature hole. This tricky par-3 features an elevated tee deck and requires a challenging carry over water to a narrow, kidney-shaped green.

Great condition, my only complaint is the layout. It seems you are constantly dodging other players balls. Other than that great course.
Great place to play a round
Course is always in great shape, staff is always friendly . If you have not checked this course out yet….. what are you waiting for.."
Beautiful course and Staff
Enjoyed Woods and Lakes courses ( 9 holes each). It was fun. There are number of blind spots. If you play first time, as I did, it will be hard to exactly know the location of holes. You have to move around with cart to find the correct direction for next shot. Fairway are very good, greens are fast. The course is well maintained. Club environment was excellent and busy with golfers enjoying their glass of beer. It was a lively environment. I saw more if seniors than young players.
Everything was great.
Nice new carts that were really frustrating. Too many ads that interrupted scoring and gps. Governing of speed in certain areas of the course was super frustrating too. I really did not like riding a cart that was driving me instead of me driving the cart.
Tough Greens and dry fairways
some fairways were brown and hard. the greens are extremely tough with a lot of undulations and tough pin placements. Good for people taking it as a challenge but a bit frustrating if you three put numerous holes. Overall the greens were very well maintained.

This course is very nice. Well designed.
The only part that I didnt like was the course Marshall came by and asked us to speed up, meanwhile we had a group in front of us, we COULDN'T speed up...
Plus, we had a member who was being an absolute A@#, a group behind us.
Slow play
Pace of play was slow at times because the three some in front of us looked for lost balls in the woods until they found a ball. Not good golf manners. Marshal did nothing to move them along
Be prepared to wait and stand around.
Not one to typically leave any bad reviews, but first time for everything. Nearly 3 hours to play 10 holes on a Wednesday afternoon. No one on the course to manage the pace of play. Waiting for at least 5-8 minutes on every shot barring once you hit the green. Disappointed to say the least.
A pleasant experience
Enjoyed playing and enjoying the company of the two good players in the group with whom I was teamed. A beautiful place to go. Entire staff, Martials as also the golfers whom I came across were friendly, appreciative and nice. Good value for money. For sure looking forward to getting membership next year when these are opened. Definitely recommend this Course with a negotiable level of difficulty.
