Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Woods/Lakes
About
Located in Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club originally opened under the name Windsor Park in 1961. Since then, another nine, the Lakes nine, has been added and the Woods nines underwent renovations to make the golf course more challenging. In total, the club offers 27 holes of golf. They are divided into three nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Woods/Lakes course features plenty of water hazards and mature trees. The Woods’ second hole is Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club’s signature hole. This tricky par-3 features an elevated tee deck and requires a challenging carry over water to a narrow, kidney-shaped green.

Golfer Reviews
Incredible round!! Course highly recommended!!
Everything about this course was great!!! We teed off ahead of schedule and were never slowed down or delayed others. The carts were great, the course was in excellent condition. I will definitely play here again.!!!
Incredible round
I can't say enough good things about this course. We played with a GolfNow deal making this round even better!! The condition of the course was immaculate, we were never delayed, waiting for another group, pace of play was fantastic!! The carts were great, with a monitor showing layout of each hole. I will definitely play this course again and I highly recommend it for others!!!
Great course
Great course with challenging holes. Overall: 4/5 stars.
Too bad it 4.5 hours to play on a Tuesday morning.
Slow
The course is in decent shape, although the greens were a little slow. But that could be spring greens. The pace was slow. 4 3/4 hours to complete the round. The group I was with waited on many holes. I just don't get it. Do players spend too much time looking for wayward balls? Do they score 8 or 10 on each hole? If you're scoring 100 or higher, drop another ball and carry on. Playing golf, particularly with carts, shouldn't take more then 4 hours... IMHO.
Nice day for golf
It was a little overcast and a little windy to start and the wind got a little stronger throughout the round. The greens were a little slow, so the breaks we were reading were not taking effect. The course is in good condition, just don't go into the rough. I played horribly, but that's how it goes with golf sometimes. The staff are always friendly.
Flamborough Hills is one of the few courses that haven't raised their green fees by ridiculous amounts. Some courses are eliminating me with their prices.
Consistently Below Standards
Why have a starter that's 104 and has no clue what's going on? The service from the bar staff at the turn was non-existent. It was like we were invisible! This used to be one of my fav places but it's so poorly run that I've had enough. Terrible pace and cx service almost every single time!!!! 👎
Tuesday Morning
Pleasantly surprised. Nice track and great value.
Finished in just under 4 hours, but that wasn't good enough for the speed demons behind us who were chirping and hitting into us all day, spoiling an otherwise beautiful outing.
If there were marshalls present they could have prevented this reckless and inflammatory behaviour coming from a group of cranky old men.
Very slow
Course was in great shape especially for the start of the season. Cost to play is good value for your $. Pace of play was unbearably slow (Tuesday morning). A foursome slowing the entire course and the Marshall does nothing about it - why even have a Marshall? Not worth the frustration, will not return.
Great first round of the year.
It has been 10 years since I played Flamborough Hills. The course was in good shape for the time of year. The pace of play was great, as we finished in just over 4 hours. The course (we played has a nice layout and is challenging. I will be back.
Amazing food
Both The price and faraway condition are better than others in Spring season. While, the instructions on GPS are little confused because it directs car path but no mark tells you car paths.
