Trillium Wood Golf Club

About
Trillium Wood Golf Club in Corbyville sprawls across 200 acres of mature woodlands. The stately trees enclose nearly every hole, giving each a peacefully secluded feel. Sparkling ponds are scattered throughout the course, coming into play on several holes, and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. One of the most challenging features of the golf course, however, is the hilly terrain. The course has one of the highest slope ratings in eastern Ontario. The final hole is a par-4 dogleg right that covers a variety of elevation changes. You'll also face a variety of fescue-covered mounds and a well protected green on this tough hole. In addition to the golf course, Trillium is known for offering the region's premier driving range as well as separate training and practice areas.

Quality gone down
Not sure what the difference is to past seasons but the greens were not in good condition. The were bumpy and shaggy. All tee decks were chewed up. Not worth the money.
Excellent Course
The course was one of the nicest courses I’ve ever played in regards to fairway conditions. The only issue was the golf carts. They are programmed so you can’t drive all over the course. Numerous times the cart would come to an almost stop and force you to back up which would take minutes at a snails pace and the reverse beep going off the entire time. The cart would almost shut down if you were 50 yrds from the green. There were no signs indicating when and where you can’t drive. It was super frustrating. If you play here, consider walking or know you will have to play cart path only most of the way. I will not be returning.
Worth the drive
This is beautiful course well maintained great layout. First time here and it took 90 to drive there but worth the drive I’ll be back.
The course was in good condition overall. It's to bad nobody ever repairs their hallmarks. Greens were bumpy.
Trillium
Great course to play. I will be back as soon as possible. Can’t wait for the next round!!
Nice course but felt pressured
Lovely course, nice fairways, always in great shape.. Have played here previously and have never felt the pressure we experienced today to pick up our pace. There were 3 separate twosomes following our foursome. We let the first twosome through which slowed us down a bit only to have two additional twosomes right on our tale for most of the game. Guess we could have let them through as well but where do you draw the line? Not sure why the course wouldn’t join these folks up to even out the pace. Felt very rushed which took away from a potentially great day especially when we were introducing new people to the course.
great staff
I went and it began pouring and the pro shop was very accommodating allowing me to wait it out and play a bit later. The dining staff was also very friendly. Much appreciated.
Great time with my wife and my brother
It’s been many years since I played there and I forgot how beautiful this course is! Greens , fairways and tee blocks were all in fantastic shape! Course employees were very kind and polite and the girl on the beverage cart was amazing! It was a very hot and humid day and she gave us cold wash cloths to cool down! Never experienced that any where! We made the trip from Mississauga and will definitely come back again
Great course
This is the first time I played and although more challenging than what I’m used to, it was a great experience. The fairways were the best from any course I’ve played. The greens were in great shape and very fast. The only complaint about the Golf Club is the person in the Pro Shop needs some lessons in Customer Sercice.
Great course
Coursenis in great shape xonsideringnthe amount of rain there has been this spring. it was cart paths only when we played but pace was still good. Interesting mix of links and parkland. Well worth the etrip
I am sorry that you weren't satisfied with your experience. Our maintenance staff has been working very hard to keep the course in great shape on a limited budget due to COVID-19 and has kept the course in great shape, all things considered. The date you played was also 5 days before a Pro-Am event that we were hosting so the course was close to the best shape of the year. I also see you rated friendliness "Poor", I hope our staff were great and helped with anything you need. I hope you reconsider coming back to play Trillium Wood.
