Trillium Wood Golf Club

About
Trillium Wood Golf Club in Corbyville sprawls across 200 acres of mature woodlands. The stately trees enclose nearly every hole, giving each a peacefully secluded feel. Sparkling ponds are scattered throughout the course, coming into play on several holes, and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. One of the most challenging features of the golf course, however, is the hilly terrain. The course has one of the highest slope ratings in eastern Ontario. The final hole is a par-4 dogleg right that covers a variety of elevation changes. You'll also face a variety of fescue-covered mounds and a well protected green on this tough hole. In addition to the golf course, Trillium is known for offering the region's premier driving range as well as separate training and practice areas.

Great features
Trillium Wood has features such as paved cart paths, Electric Carts with GPS which you only find at golf courses at a much higher green fee rate, Great value for the money.
The staff was just average & we did not have enough carts 2 golfers had to walk. We paid for carts & they would not give us a rain check for carts the next time we visit .
Trillium Wood
Amazing course. Conditions were wet but still very challenging and enjoyable to play. 10/10 would recommend.
It was ok
the course was in good shape. The starter was very very good. Maybe a little on course marshaling might help. Greens were fantastic!
The course is in wonderful condition. Excited to see what happens on 4 where the old pond was. Hopefully it gets restored. It would add a lot of character back to the signature hole. Grounds crew is doing an excellent job. Only issue was the driving range tee blocks had not been moved in a few days and it was torn up pretty badly.
Well conditioned golf course. Greens in good condition but players need to fix ball marks.
Excellent value with very friendly staff.
Would return and play this course again.
Logical, open course
This course was a nice mix of long and short holes. The fairways are wide with few hazards. The GPS on the carts limits you from driving near the green and to the edges, which got annoying trying to find errant balls.
Great course in great shape
Was a hot day but the beverage cart had some great cold ones and wet clothes. The course was in great shape!
Great course...as always
I play Trillium at least once a week, and it never gets boring. The layout requires shot placement more than length. Conditions are mint. I just wish people would repair their ball marks. I find 3-5 on almost every green that people have just left there. Kudos to the staff.
So slow
The course was in great shape. Greens were really nice. Staff was ok. Unfortunately the pace of play was terrible.. there was a group of 6 confront of us who held up the entire course. Where is the on course marshel?.
It wasok
Overall it was ok. Greens were nice. Fairways need a little help. Staff was very friendly. It was a good value for 60$.
Great course great price!
1st time playing this course. Left feeling good about the round and the dollars spent. Course is in great condition.. fairways green and cut to perfection. Greens rolled true. Birdies are tricky to come by cause you need to play this course more than once to know what to hit off the tee and where to land it. A few holes you have 90 degree doglegs so you can’t just hit driver off of every tee deck.. you will use all your clubs.
Great course great value.. good course to walk.
Beautiful and fun
From the first call to inquire about tee times, to leaving the 18th green everyone was friendly and welcoming!
The course was in fantastic condition, somewhat challenging without being so hard that you get frustrated and want to leave. The layout and overall appearance of each hole offered a lot of scenery and gave both the experienced and beginner golfer a path to each green!
I am so impressed, that I got to my car and quickly booked for another round next weekend!
Great course, but a rushed round
In our group of 3, it was the first time there for 2 of us. Beautiful course, power cart monitor that shows map of each hole of great but we had a hard time enjoying the course as we had a group of regulars right behind us pushing the pace to quick. We attempted to let them play threw at the halfway point to which an official told us we were not aloud to die that as we would just have another team right behind them and we should keep up with the team ahead of us which we hadn’t even seen since we tee’d off. Also forgot to mention we were told we could tee off whenever so we were at least 5 minutes ahead of our own tee time so why we had a team ready to tee off as soon as we hit our second shots. I loved the course but the pace of play kind of ruined it for me.
I am glad you enjoyed the course. Sorry that the pace was not enjoyable, we do our best to ensure every group has an enjoyable round at our course. The starter should have explained at the beginning of the round that the goal is to keep up to the group in front of you and not to let other groups play through as the course is generally very busy. I apologize that this may not have been communicated at the first tee, We will do our best to improve our communication to our customers on the first tee. I hope that you consider returning to the course as we would love to have you. Cheers.
