Great days are spent here
This course is the ideal course for a casual walk with a beautiful surrounding. Well kept, and challenging enough for any level. It’s how golf was intended to be.
Hidden Gem
Hidden in the burbs of Oshawa/Curtis converted farmland from the 80s has matured into a nice scenic and challenging nine
without the unwanted hype of high end courses. Interesting history with club ownership from local roots.
A good walk (not spoiled)
First time playing there and really enjoyed the easily walkable 9 hole layout.
Average price 9 hole Green Fees, wouldn't pay for the power cart, especially because it isn't needed as its a modest length 9 hole course that is very flat, so if you are looking for elevation changes you wont find it here.
Good little course if you want to play a quick 9. I walked on as a single some weekday morning so it wasn't too busy.
Only complaint would be drainage. Heavily rained the night before and some areas of certain fairways were a little soggy. I was told they are aware of it and are addressing this issue.
However, the fairways & greens are surprisingly well maintained for only a 9 hole course. The staff, I believe a family that owns and operates the course really love their course and they do take good care of it.
The first hole, a par 5 reminded me of a runway, so whack a driver! Loved the pond infront of the 7th green and forest borders a lot of the course.
Looking forward to playing there in 2015. Wouldn't describe the course as difficult either, a better player could probably shoot par or a few over.
They made a mistake on the course map on the scorecard because it shows two hole 7s so makes an unusual memento.
Definitely going back! Only a few weeks until the start of the 2015 season!
