A simple course of 18 holes that takes just a little over three hours. Can be confusing for first time players as the layout isn’t spread out.
I honestly don't if there is a less maintained golf course in Canada. Tee blocks are literal concrete.
Fairways are rough
The Fairway conditions are not the best. Greens are okay. Staff was meh.
Good course to work your Irons
-Course is good for working your irons, not many long holes which I don't mind.
-Some of the greens and fairways were pretty rough (dead grass/dry greens, etc.) But overall it's nice.
-I generally golf alone and walk the course, I've been stuck behind larger groups a couple times now and have had to wait quite a while in between holes.
-Also be aware of random balls dropping near you (specifically at the hole #11 tees)
-I've seen a great blue heron a couple times when I've been there and also found an owl feather which was a cool added bonus.
Good par 3 course which is kept in greT condition
I had booked a tee time online when there had been every tee time before and after available. I did not know I had to call the course to tell them I want to reserve a cart. To me that just doesn’t make sense? Why have a website to book online if I can’t book a cart with it. When I arrived the girl at the front desk very accommodating when I asked to purchase a cart. She said they were all booked up (which I understand) but I also pre paid online $11 and when I asked if I could get it back she said just “no we don’t do refunds” and a very abrupt way. She did not apologize or seem to give any type of empathy/sympathy towards me like saying “I’m sorry that’s just how our website works next time you have to call”. I left furiously and went and played at a better golf course with better customer service and tee boxes anyways.
Will not be returning.
